This time I would like to share a wonderful experience lived in two very important and enriching days in which I had the opportunity to participate recently in the center of specialties Bárbula, place where I am doing gastronomic studies of pastry chef currently in level II of sous chef, as I said in an opportunity, in another publication the pastry is another of my passions and this is very special because my mother was an excellent pastry chef, and I also share it with my eldest daughter who is excellent in her work, with my son who is also studying in the gastronomic part and my youngest daughter also participates on occasions, the truth is I think she is very good, but she has not yet awakened that passion to make it part of her life, but she likes other things and I support her in what she.</div></P>

Esta vez quisiera compartir un poco una maravillosa experiencia vivida en dos días bastante importantes y enriquecedores en los que tuve la oportunidad de estar participando recientemente en el centro de especialidades Bárbula, lugar en donde estoy realizando estudios gastronómicos de chef pastelero actualmente en el nivel II de sous chef, como comenté en una oportunidad, en otra publicación la pastelería es otra de mis pasiones y ésta es muy especial porque mi madre era excelente repostera, y también la comparto con mi hija mayor que es excelente en su trabajo, con mi hijo que estudia también en la parte gastronómica y mi hija menor también participa en ocasiones, la verdad creo es my buena, pero aun no se le ha despertado esa pasión como para hacerlo parte de su vida, pero le gustan otras coas y yo la apoyo en lo que ella decida hacer.</div></P>

<P><div class="text-justify">Well, as I mentioned, in the center of gastronomic specialties began last week with a cycle of exhibitions as part of the end of the period corresponding to the 2nd cut.
These exhibitions were really special because their name and goal was to teach, learn and rescue some of the traditions of our beautiful country Venezuela, in this case those that have to do with gastronomy or typical dishes and more deeply in the sweets and traditional desserts, for these we were watching and studying state by state these issues, with the additional that our chef encouraged us to make these were very dynamic and exemplary.</div></P>

> <P><div class="text-justify">Bueno como les comentaba,  en el centro de especialidades gastronómicas se comenzó la semana pasada con ciclo de exposiciones en el marco del término del  lapso correspondiente al 2do corte.
Estas exposiciones fueron realmente especiales ya que tenían por nombre y también como meta enseñar , conocer y rescatar algunas de las tradiciones de nuestro hermoso país Venezuela, en este caso las que tiene que ver con la gastronomía o platos típicos y mas profundamente en la dulcería y postres tradicionales, para estos estuvimos viendo y estudiando estado por estado estos temas, con el adicional de que nuestra chef nos estimulo para que estas fueran muy dinámicas y ejemplificantes.</div></P>

<P><div class="text-justify">I must say that despite the short time given for the organization of this activity, it turned out to be quite interesting and enriching.
Refreshing state by state our strengths, our crops and traditional preparations was satisfying and rich at the same time, a necessary learning not to forget our roots, or who we are, as we know that today we live in a world where many things are ephemeral and short memory, because of this it is increasingly important to give due value to what really should transcend.
With this I am not saying that it is not valid, nor do I oppose the evolution that we must have to remain and enrich ourselves as people to grow as human beings.</div></P>

> <P><div class="text-justify">Debo decir que a pesar del corto tiempo dado para la organización de esta actividad resultó ser bastante interesante y enriquecedora.
Refrescar estado por estado nuestras fortalezas, nuestros cultivos y preparaciones tradicionales fue satisfactorio y rico a la vez, un aprendizaje además necesario para no olvidar nuestras raíces, ni quienes somos, ya que sabemos que en la actualidad vivimos en un mundo en donde muchas cosas son efímeras y de memoria corta, debido a esto se hace cada vez mas importante darle el debido valor a lo que  realmente debe trascender.
Con esto no digo que no es valido, ni mi opongo a la evolución que debemos tener para permanecer y enriquecernos como personas para crecer como seres humanos.</div></P>

<P><div class="text-justify">The activity was based, as I said before, on traditional desserts and sweets, mentioning also the music, clothing, climate, geography, economy and so on, until we got to the gastronomy, where we stopped in more detail to talk about the traditional desserts and sweets. 
We tasted desserts from the colonial and republican times, desserts that according to tradition were eaten by our heroes, such as the cake called "torta melosa" which was the favorite of the liberator Simón Bolívar, a cake that has, besides the common ingredients such as eggs and sugar, cheese and is made in a mold with caramel, so when you turn it over, it looks like a little cheese, I tell you it is really delicious. ... also the torta burrera, María Luisa, Bejarana, among others...</div></P>

> <P><div class="text-justify">La actividad estuvo basada como dije ya, en mas que nada los postres y dulces tradicionales, haciendo mención también de la música, vestimenta, clima, geografía, economía y así hasta llegar a la gastronomía 
donde nos deteníamos mas detalladamente, probamos postres de la época colonial, republicana, postres que según la tradición comieron nuestros próceres como por ejemplo la torta llamada melosa que era la preferida por el libertador Simón Bolívar, torta que lleva a parte de los ingrediente comunes como huevos y azúcar, queso  y está hecha en un molde con caramelo, por lo que al voltearla queda por fuera como un quesillo, les digo que es realmente deliciosa... también la torta burrera, María Luisa, Bejarana, entre otras... </div></P>

<P><div class="text-justify">The typical sweet called majarete is made in two different versions, in two different states, Falcón and Distrito Capital.</div></P>

<P><div class="text-justify">
We went through region by region with their respective states, and also getting to know more deeply the typical ingredients of each dish and also the history behind these desserts.
We found that cocoa, corn, rice, paprika, coconut, mango, pineapple, are ingredients that in many cases are repeated in most of the states... especially coconut, paprika and pineapple.....
Of course they are desserts and sweets mostly simple, but delicious and full of flavor that have been prepared in many of the kitchens of our ancestors and that some are familiar to us in the day to day as rice with coconut, rice pudding, dulce de lechoza, the kiss of coconut, sweet polished, sweet milk, cut, among others.</div></P>

> <P><div class="text-justify">Fuimos recorriendo región por región con sus respectivos estados, y así también conociendo mas profundamente los ingrediente típicos de cada plato y también la historia detrás de estos postres.
importante el cacao, el maíz, el arroz, el papelón, el coco, el mango, la piña, son ingrediente que en muchos casos se repiten en la mayoría de los estados... sobre todo el coco, el papelon....
Por supuesto son postres y dulces mayormente sencillos, pero deliciosos y llenos de sabor que se han venido preparando en muchas de las cocinas de nuestros antepasados y que algunas nos son familiares en el día a día como el arroz con coco, el arroz con leche, el dulce de lechoza, el besito de coco, los dulces abrillantados , dulces de leche, cortados, entre otros.</div></P>

<P><div class="text-justify">The part that corresponded to my person was located in the state of Merida, I must say that I particularly enjoyed learning more deeply about this state that I am fortunate to have visited personally, but nevertheless I did not know many things and I am sure that there are also many more to know.
The state of Merida is really beautiful and rich in traditions, its gastronomy is exquisite and it is one of the most touristic and visited Venezuelan states, by locals and foreigners alike, since it has one of the most spectacular and varied landscapes, a very pleasant climate, multiple attractions and also its inhabitants are the most gentle and pleasant.</div></P>

> <P><div class="text-justify">La parte que le correspondía a mi persona se ubicaba en el estado Mérida, debo decir que particularmente disfrute mucho conocer mas profundamente de este estado al que tengo la fortuna de haber visitado personalmente, pero sin embargo no conocía muchas cosas y estoy segura que también faltan muchas mas por conocer.
El estado Mérida es realmente hermoso y rico en tradiciones, su gastronomía exquisita y es de los estados venezolanos mas turísticos y visitados, por propios y extraños ya que posee uno de los paisajes mas espectaculares y variados, un clima muy agradable, múltiples atracciones y además sus habitantes de los mas gentiles y agradables.</div></P>

<P><div class="text-justify">It was really a pleasure to have been part of this small tribute and reminder of our beautiful traditions and to have tasted a small representation of these typical dishes that are part of our DNA as a nation.
I am committed to continue spreading these traditions and pass them on to my children and so on, not only because they are something common, but also because they are really delicious.</div></P>
