I have been here only for a week or so, but even in such a short time i managed to browse through 3 weeks posts.
Guess what i have noticed that most of the topics are about steemit or connected to it in one or another way.

I guess in the beginning its the most trending topic obviously if you are in steemit you are interested about all the news what is going on. Its alright since we all like to see something new about the website we are searching no matter where we are. Unfortunately this have became some kind of mania where people just create/duplicate unnecessary post.

Why do people that have no knowledge about steemit try to do that?
I would say that is because nearly every trending post is connected with steemit and after all its all about the money.
People are greedy and jealous so they will do anything to achieve what they are aiming for. Now saying that you would think what is the point to re-post already trending post everyone already knows about it. Well that is not necessarily true, just today morning i witnessed some unique re-post one of the 26.7.16 update it was duplicated 3 times in just 1 hour.
And i though seriously.... Okay lets say you are a small fish and you don't care about the trending post just because they already are trending and its to late for you. But then again by up-voting the first duplicate haven;t you scrolled down and seen 2 more of the same posts i mean its only 30 min difference, but 2 of them earned around 20$ by that time.

So i decided to do a little experiment and re-post it myself for the fourth time.  I managed to do that and there was only around 12 minutes difference between my post and the later one. Im going to show you the outcome of the post.

Okay my one haven't made nothing near $20 but, lets not forget it was re-posted for the fourth time in the past 2 hours gap. And still 27 up-votes... And why is that just because people up-vote anything that comes with "Release Steem V. 0.12.0" or something similar? 

I think some of them do this all the time by taking older popular posts and re-posting them they don't get into the trending no more just because whales knows they up-voted it and they made money from it.

No other explanation while new members of steemit or the ones that missed the trending article still decides to up-vote it without doing any further researches such as:

checking posters blog
search button on steemit for same post


Most of the time if you look into re-posters blog you will see a massive amount of posts in the past 2 hours.
That obviously means he can't write such a good/long articles in just 5 minutes time, no definitely not.

In most cases search button always works its just your own patience to search through the similar posts.

My suggestion prevent that from happening, try not to up-vote such a posts. Take your time to up-vote, just because the post is good it does not mean you have to click right away give yourself few minutes.
