Hello everyone, this is @eddiespino from the @aliento project and the @threespeak team, https://3speak.tv/, and I'm happy to introduce another project that is part of the Aliento family. 3Speak is an excellent platform for videos, and it's evolving every day. However, we know it's not perfect, and it still needs a lot of upgrades and improvements.

I've been part of the team almost since the beginning of 2021, thanks to @theycallmedan. I am currently helping with the social part of the project, which includes filtering and helping the curation system and verifying users and all that fun stuff.

Thanks to the feedback that I have shared with the team, we have improved the curation system to prevent abuse and reward original and high-quality content. We can now detect if users are faking views and set lower upvotes depending on the quality of the content. It's still not perfect, but we see better results.

## Manual Curation

Just some weeks ago, we started manually curating content. That's why we decided to create this account, help filter the best posts, and give them an upvote manually if the regular curating system skips them. We are also collaborating with @acidyo and @ocd team to help users received better votes. I send them posts to vote with @ocdb and @acidyo, community leaders, and curators send us posts to vote them with @threespeak.

Thanks to the manual curation, we can also identify people trying to cheat the system and take action when needed. It's a challenging task to support everyone, but we are making our best effort to be as fair as possible. Check our process below:

### Our Process to Filter and Curate Videos

Each day, at least two or three times, we check for all the new 3Speak videos. We decide if they should mark them as NSFW and eligible for an upvote from the @threespeak account. We do not follow specific criteria. Still, if the video is original and high quality, it will have an opportunity to earn an upvote. It's never guaranteed, though.

While we are filtering videos, we always look for rare gems: high-quality videos and that stand out from the rest. These videos receive an upvote from this account (@aliento.speak), and we can save them in a list in the [Curation History](https://peakd.com/@aliento.speak/trail). That way, we can come back and upvote them with @threespeak and recommend the best ones to the curators at OCD.

### About the account

Currently, we have only 5,000 Hive Power which is delegated from @aliento. If you have followed us, you may know that we love win-win scenarios, and in this case, we want this account to grow. We also want our projects to grow, but more importantly, we want the users to win and be more motivated to keep uploading content on https://3speak.tv/, this way, 3Speak will also win. Maybe in the future, we will increase the delegation or look for support from big stakeholders.

**Note**: This account belongs to the @aliento project. It is a separate project from 3Speak, and it has the purpose of making this task easier and also to help more users earn better rewards on 3Speak.tv. **Oh, and one final thing**. For many months 3Speak videos were not watchable in @hive.blog (https://hive.blog/). We contacted the developers behind condenser (behind the https://hive.blog/ frontend) after some failed attempts (I was contacting the wrong dev) we contacted @blocktrades who was very happy to help, and the 3Speak dev Chris (@sisygoboom) could finally make 3Speak videos work in https://hive.blog/.

I'm not sure if it was because of this change, but currently, 3Speak videos are not working on @peakd. By the time you read this post is possible that the awesome devs behind @peakd have already fixed this, but I just wanted to share that here.

## Curación manual

### Nuestro proceso de filtrado y selección de vídeos
