Generaly speaking we tend to think that focus is good and distractions are bad.
Getting distracted means you lost your focus, being focused means you are distraction free. But focus and distractions are not good nor bad, their value completely depends on what they are pointing to.
For example, what if you just lost an important client, your best friend betrayed you, or the love of your life - and the person you have a family with- all of a sudden announces they're getting a divorce, and that is your main focus and all you can think of, is it still a good thing?
And in this case, would getting distracted be still a bad thing?
