This is @allama, bringing value to the low-level monsters yet again. In today's post, I bring you a battle that shall prove that quality is always better than quantity. And, the placement of your monsters is essential. 

Now, I have participated in my very first tournament and shall bring it up in my next post so keep your eye out and follow me😉.

Moving on, this is a battle between Fire and Light. The battle has a power endgame that one mustn't miss.

# **Battle**

The mana cap was 40. I had Tarsa and the Opponent had General Sloan. I wanted to get a deck full of monsters that are balanced. So, I had a tank: Living Lava, the attackers: Tenyii Striker and Serpentine Spy, my rear guards/ranged attackers: Spark Pixies and Fire Elemental. And lastly, the monster with the most consistent magic attack: Djinn Apprentice.

Reason:
- Choosing Tarsa or Obsidian is a viable option for battles with higher mana. Thaddius Brood is a faction that can be used fully if the mana ranges from 26-14.

- The Living Lava has the ability to reduce melee attacks and it can attack with 4 damage, an amazing combo.

- I placed the Tenyii Striker in second place because I had the vision of creating a balanced team and didn't want to place it in the way in the back of the deck.

- The Serpentine Spy has 3 damage and 2 HP making it the weakest link in the deck. I could've placed it in the back but I wanted to protect the ranged warriors.

- I have the Magi Of Chaos monster but completely forgot about it and went with the Djinn Apprentice. Both have the same magic damage but Magi has 2 extra HP for 2 extra mana cost. Given the battle mana cap, that could've been a good option.

- Death Elemental is one of my favorite cards and just had to get her in the deck. The blast ability is the real deal in these high mana cap battles, you would want to reduce the HP of the opposing team as much as possible.

- Spark Pixies have the ability to evade incoming attacks and not to mention their insanely high battle points, making enemy monsters less than likely to land a hit on it.

Tank: Pelacor Conjurer
Attackers: Venari Crystal Smith.
Ranged Attackers: Pelakor Arbalest, Cave Slug.
Attackers that are present but are useless until their time comes: Gakgota Scrapper, Drybone Barbarians.



# **Round 1** - **Stare Down**

The introduction of both the team's traits took 4 turns, to the 6th turn is the second attack of the first round. Right off the bat, we get to see that the opponent tank has already taken a beating from one of the ranged attackers.

The next hit sent it flying out of the arena. Their new tank, the Crystal Smith steps up.

A single hit from my tank fell the guy instantly. The Cave Slug took the opportunity to reduce my numbers by eliminating the Serpentine Spy.

# **Round 2** - *Short Work*

The dry bone steps up. Now, this guy was their tank and for some reason was behind all the others. One of the ranged attackers strikes it first.

Somehow, their tank had a 6 damage as its melee damage. A single strike would've eliminated it easily. It struck my tank but only registered it's half damage.

The dry bone took the full brunt of my tank's damage and was now up for grabs from any one of my monsters.

# **Round 3** - *Matter Of Time*

Moments before a disaster fell atop a monster.

The Arbalest is the worst enemy to fave when you are is a ranged position. My tank has 1 HP left. Good thing is, the Cave slug was the only striker left.

And, you know how it ends. A swift strike from the Japanese Samurai severed the head of the Slug, an execution.
