Perhaps you could also make another test and try to engage with some people (let's say 100 different users) and comment their photos and see how many of them will comment back and follow you back.

That could be also interesting.

Would you mind telling us why you dont recommend that move? In order to be able to use bots we need to have SBD so we will be forced to power down sometimes.

I never use bots and so far I struggle to grow, most of my post didn't get votes or reply at all, 0 votes 0 reply.

I guess using bot is the only way to grow on steemit, because I saw so many people, especially high reputation accounts that used bots and they got massive income from simple posts every day.

I will never use bots anyway, so my account is the same as dead if this is continue.

If this bots trend still continue, then steemit is only for rich people who can buy bots to upvote them and they can get a lot of income from it.

This is very sad, because I thought we can grow on steemit without bot.

what about the followers, did you get more from the resteems than from the bots? That would be also interesting

As for @transparencybot - then this whip has two ends. On the one hand, it can attract new readers to your blog, but more often than not it attracts various fighters against bots and their users. These idiots can downvote your post and take away a substantial amount of money from you.

Man does steem really have to be this convoluted ? I always thought we were working towards mainstream adoption and once that happened we were going to be able to monetize the content from outside sources.

I did not found the post on the trending page, because I never look at it. I did found it on the hot page, which of course is only a little bit better than the trending page.
I also used bots but never with so much power. 
My conclusions:
- only the bots gets richer. They are selling a nirmal free upvote. Besides that they do ge rich with the curation rewards!
- the good thing about using good bots is that it does skyrocket your reputation! Silly me was thinking that reputation could not be bought on the Steem blockchain. O boy, I was wrong!
- using bots does give a false feeling of appreciation. Which makes it addictive!
- using bots can increase the number of follower which is handy when using busy.org

I don’t judge people who are using bots but I do judge people who are using bots to get on the trending page but neglect to reply on comments.
So this is a little experiment from my side!
I am going to follow you because I am interested in the outcomeof this test.
So yes if you pay enough at the bots, it could be helpfull!
But the be honest I normally do not upvotes post which are artificially pumped by bots, but I will make an exemption for once because the post and experiment deserves it!

I am also in the testing business. But something in me tells me the easiest way to get more steem is to buy low and sell high, then buy low and sell high etc. I also try the hyip steemdelegation principle. Not as profitable as LaserOnline, but at least it works :-)
