#425 - Bees in the park.


It's Monday once again and earlier today during the rush hour, I went to a nearby small market to get some groceries we need and wow the traffic of vehicles on the main road is crazy. Much more the commuters who are waiting for a public transport ride. They are like swarm of ants on the road and once a vacant jeep stops then they flock to it like crazy because it's every man for himself as they all need to get to work in time. This sight reminds us that this is the normal time again right before the pandemic hits two years ago. We have some comfort working from home for atleast a couple of years and now that the restrictions are lifted, we are going back to normal which means heavy traffic and long period of travel resulting to tiredness. The company I am in also gave hints already that we will be doing the same in the next few months so we are getting ready for that. So it is just a matter of time that we will be doing extended hours of commute once again.

So for our photos this day, I will be sharing shots of the macro world which some may just haven't notice from time to time. At the end of this post I will share the area where these photos are taken how easy for people not to notice the critters unless they pay attention to the tiny flowers. So this first one shows a bee which just landed on a yellow sunflower like but this flower is small just about an inch or two in diameter I think. Some of the petals have already fallen off too maybe because the flower is past its prime and is just counting its remaining days before wilting.

Then there is also another curious critter which is aside from the bee is also interested with the pollens of the small flowers. This time its a blue fly or fruit fly, I can't distinguish this fly but I see it mostly in the wet market where they sell fish, meat and pork but this time, it's kind has wandered where there are flowers.😁

Same with the first photo where the petals have fallen already, this one has lost majority of the petals and it could be a few days before withering. But that doesn't mean there is no pollens anymore.

Here's a another bee right at the center of the yellow flower which has a complete number of petals. This flower could be in its finest hour to produce pollens.

Then there's another fly too on top of the flower eating its pollens. You can see yellow pollens in the fly's front limbs and looks like its consuming the pollens.

As mentioned earlier I will show the area where the insects photos were taken and here it is. A small garden beside the park and none has their time to just bend over and look at the tiny world that vis going on there. People just pass by this area and take photos from time to time until someone with interest to the macro world comes over and snap photos of their activities.
