Hive Philippines Travel and Nature Photography #532 - by Allmonitors

#532 - Siargao shots for today.

A gloomy Friday evening fellow Hivers. It is the weekend once more and most of us have planned ahead for this day of the weekend, some have family affairs while some have get together with friends. I myself will also have a team building this Sunday evening going to Monday afternoon, the place is in the south which is about four hour trip from where I am at.

Now for today's travel shots, let me take us back to beautiful Siargao. This first shot was taken on the island 🏝️ they called Naked Island because the island has no trees nor any plants at all. The size of it during low tides is about two basketball courts but it gradually decrease when high tides are up. We could see several boats out there which were used by tourists to go to this small island. During typhoons this island is below water if I am not mistaken.

Then we rode our chartered boat which was part of the tour package we availed. There were two men with us, the driver of the boat which behind us and this dude in front of the boat enjoying the bumpy ride with the waves.😁 There's also a woman with us who is making sure that we are taken care of from boarding to returning to the main island.

The wife sun kissed already. Almost golden brown in color 😁. This is a part of one of the islands which are stony and not conducive to swimming but still a picture perfect spot.

Another shot of the stony part of the island. The rocks are sharp here so we had to practice extra caution when walking. Barefoot? I haven't tried.

Me and the wife on another part of the big island called Daku or big. Those are some of the boats carrying tourists to this island where we will have our lunch. Majority of the tours spend their midday here because this is the place where lunch are prepared and served while under the cover of nipa huts.
