Baden city in Switzerland is situated between two ridges of the Jura Mountains, right next to the old town flows the river Limmat through a 200 meter wide .  The town tower was built in the second half of the 15th century above the northern exit. It is the only remaining fortified tower of the medieval town fortification.    Along the river Limat, magnificent trees, quiet places and the rushing Limmat, the promenade offers space for a little time out.  An elevator tower provides a direct link from the train station square in Baden to the Limmat promenade.  Baden has about 18 different springs where bubbles the thermal water with about 47 °C.
