Lands in Splinterlands is going to be a big thing and its been approximately 3 years of the presale. When the presale was executed that time I had no idea what it is going to be and I purchased 2 plots using DEC. I used all the DEC I had in my account. Since I was new in the game at that time so out of curiosity I purchased whatever I had in my wallet with the hope that things will be better and maybe it will add another layer of gaming to my overall gaming experience. Now that this has become a bigger part of the game then I am happy with my decision. It's always better to have something than nothing so I hold 2 plots in the game which is not a very big amount I would say but it's still something that makes me happy.

#### My Plots 

Below are the details of the plots I own one is a Hill and another one is a Mountain. Both are natural types with common rarity and also have active boosts because I had an option for this during the deed claim. Usually, I go with the options provided on the pace because these are helpful hence I did the same here as well with the boost which I think is going to be a nice decision that I had taken during the registration. I am not sure what will be the operation of these plots in the game because this has not been revealed by the team however we can expect that they will be sharing more information soon because development has been ongoing. There was a time when the value of my plots was very high but I did not sell because I was expecting something big out of it in the long run and I still have the same thought.

#### Market Price

Here is the price for the plot in hive-engine and price is approximately 400 HIVE and this was more than 800 once but still I did not sell. May be the case that I missed the opportunity to sell that time and buy back so this way I could have accumulated more plots in my account but it's OK since I did not go with that option. Now since I can see that there is more development going on with this segment so somewhere in my mind I have thought to buy more plots and hopefully, this can be a good decision in terms of investment for the long term. Currently, the operation for lands has not been enabled but once it is available then probably this can be another option to generate some passive income on the platform and I look forward to seeing it going live soon.

#### Is it time to buy More?

If I consider the all-time high price then this can be a good time to buy more plots but I think rather than buying immediately it is better to track the price and see if there is a better deal available. Sometimes we come across better buying deals in the market but for that, it is important to keep track and visit the market quite often to grab and I am going to do the same. There can be some increase in price or there can also be a better deal than the current market price so we will have to see what is best for us following the same I am going to wait for some time but also keep on tracking the price in the market. I have two plots so whatever benefits will be provided to plot holders will be available for me as well but if I can increase the number of plots somehow then the benefits can also be increased. 

There are multiple assets in the game that I hold but now I am trying to increase the count because that is how I can add more value to my account. This is also because I tried to generate some passive income through the game in the long run and this way, I expect that things will go as per the plan but yes I would like to mention here that it will take a long time and even I'm not expecting anything to happen significantly in few months.
