DEC and SPS :- My strategy with Both tokens these days
The token is not just an instrument that we can trade and make some money out of it if we are able to buy the dip and sell at high instead there are many other benefits that are also linked with these if the project is good. There is the reason behind it and why I am saying this and today in this post I am going to talk about two tokens, Both of the tokens are part of the splinterlands game which is the leading play to earn game on the blockchain. There are three tokens in the splinterlands ecosystem and these are below. Out of all these 3 DEC, I am going to talk about DEC and SPS tokens in the post today. 
* DEC (Dark Energy Crystals)
* SPS (Splintershards)
* SPT (SplinterTalk) Tribe tokens


### Dark Energy Crystals (DEC)

DEC token is like a currency in the game that we can use to buy assets including cards, potions, packs, etc however as of now CL packs can only be purchased using credits. DEC is the token that we can earn through the battle win, daily quest reward, season rewards, and even though the tournament. I did buy quite a good number of tokens in the beginning of the SPS drop and now its price is too low. I buy DEC tokens in hive-engine and sharing the chart snapshot here which is showing that the price has been falling now.

> Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) are the most valued resource in the Splinterlands. They can be obtained by draining the dark energy from cards or from your opponents by achieving victory on the battlefield. Once obtained, they can be traded for powerful items and magical potions in the shop!


### Splintershards (SPS)
Splintershards (SPS) is the governance token of the splinterlands game and this is a high-value token. SPS airdrop has been going on since last year and it's still remained for over 1090 days and it's like the opportunity to grab more tokens in going on. I have been accumulating the tokens since the inception and am happy that I have achieved 30k plus tokens. 

I track both the tokens and see how the price movement happens. As we can see that SPS price is up by over 7% but DEC has gone down by over 8%.

This is the 3-month chart for SPS and here also we can see the downtrend in price. Its price was 0.21$ 3 months back and now it's at $0.11 which is like a 50% dip in price.

DEC is one of the tokens that can help us increase the daily drop of SPS significantly and the price drop in the token can be because the airdrop is nearing the end. Those who were holding because of airdrop only might be selling now and this could be a reason for the price drop. 

I am ok with DEC but I don't know why people are treating SPS as a common token because this token is a governance token so we can expect a lot. I am not going to sell my DEC and even I am buying SPS to increase my holding. Based on my experience I can say that you never know which coin price starts mooning and that's when we feel like FOMO which is not right. I even did buy some DEC as my current holding is more than 900k and I want to make it 1 million and then I will continue to hold.

So now I have reached the 1 million DEC mark and this will help me get an increased daily SPS drop. The current drop will continue to happen for 100+ days so I know that any loss that I will incur here will be compensated with SPS. So for now, I am done with DEC and will focus only on SPS and work to move it forward to reach my SPS goal.
