We live in the era of 21 century and have the best technology available for us to use and this can transform various sectors. We use technology the entire day starting with the day and end of it. Even if you are not using the smartphone or any phone then also you are surrounded by it and its almost impossible to imagine a life without technology. If you read this post then you are using the high-end technology known as blockchain since this blog is posted on it and it can be accessed only by visiting the blockchain-based social media. 

Technology has played an important role in many sectors and some of them are Banking, Aviation, Retail, Hospitality, Payment Services, etc and now this has also made things way better in the hiring sector. Although this is not a new thing because we know the hiring sector has been using technology for quite some time but during the time of pandemic this adoption has increased. Since the employment and recruitment segment was already using technology so now they have gone to the next level where the entire process happens digitally and there is no need of going physically to the office for interviews etc.

I switched my job in May and got an offer at home. I did not go anywhere and its all happened at home. Starting with the interview process (including various rounds, HR discussion) and until joining its all happened digitally. I got the laptop delivered at home and this is how I bagged a job without going anywhere. Now I work from home and there is no such plan that I will be visiting the office this year.

This complete digital process of onboarding is very good and I like this a lot since I did not travel anywhere and also I had not to wait for too long waiting or my turn which usually happens. I save my time as well as money to get the interview done by phone using digital ways and I am sure many of us would like to have it this way only because it is quite convenient.

*Now interviews and joining formalities are happening through zoom or other similar apps and even for the background verification, we need not submit physical documents as soft copies are good enough.
