These days we often hear about the word Metaverse and especially after the Facebook rebranding to Meta this is even more popular. Though the word is popular however lots of people still don't know much about Metaverse. There are several reasons for this in my opinion and even I am not much aware of this. It is because I never thought of spending enough time learning about the metaverse and understanding it better. Its like another segment in crypto and blockchain where gaming and virtual reality is the main focus. It has crypto coins and NFT but the use case is different. Its not like crypto which is straight forward. Even for me, NFT is not easy, and this way the metaverse also is kind of the same. Its built on blockchain technology and also backed by cryptocurrency so its like a combination of both and an advanced version of virtual reality. Many gaming companies are using it and also working behind the scene to develop something that can provide a better gaming experience. Its not just limited to gaming and even it has the scope to create a virtual space that can be utilized for business purposes. Maybe there are so many use cases of the technology but very few people know about it. VR gaming and watching movies and other content is so much fun and we get the next-level gaming experince. > a virtual-reality space in which users can interact with a computer-generated environment and other users. #### Metaverse Projects I am not sure if Facebook is already working on this and have just the plan to join. Its a big company with a global presence so this enters in metaverse then for sure we can see much more action here. This will also be a boost to the crypto and blockchain industry if it happens. I think Facebook as a company would never stay behind and they must be working silently. Probably they will come all of sudden and announce something that can create more metaverse interest for the people. We have a bunch of projects working in the metaverse. Mana and Sand are two highly popular projects and their price value is good. If we look at the coin price then apecoin is better but I believe that the other two have got more potential and a bigger user base. #### Metaverse Hype There was a good hype around but now it seems that the craze has gone down. It happens in the crypto space many things loose their charm after some time. Since the metaverse is about creating a virtual space, 3D games, and much more related to digital and virtual reality. I believe that this is something that not everyone is aware of and even many people don't have an interest in gaming. Its a form of technology that is evolving but expecting mass adoption is not going to happen. I wanted to invest in some metaverse coins but then I took a pause it had been a few months but I did not feel like doing this. ** ** The future of the metaverse can be great because I believe that there are people who want to experience and work with this technology. They want to experience the best of virtual reality but not everyone is interested and this is the reason why it may not get mass adoption. Its good to have an ad-hoc option in the crypto and blockchain industry. I am not a big fan of this and this is why probably I am not going to invest in this. I also dont think that this can contribute a lot to the crypto and blockchain. I may be wrong but this is what I think based on my research and study. Many things come and go in crypto and this is the one that will stay but I believe it will be good to have and a chunk of people and companies will join and invest. NFT is also one of the things which got more attention but even lots of people are not aware of it because its not as simple as the crypto coin. I admit that I dont understand more about NFT because I am not an artist and this is why I am not more in NFT. Similarly, I dont understand the metaverse more I will not be more into this as well. But its the crypto market and anything can happen here. We never know if in the next bull run these metaverse projects get more attention ad prices grow. If it happens then probably we can see another hype but this is something that one individual can not use in daily life. Its not even life Defi where we can earn good but if the project is growing then can be considered as a good investment option however must consider the risk appetite.
