It's been 1.5 years for the launch of SPS as it was launched in last week of July 2021. The initial staking apr was more than 500% but with the growing deposit pool it kept on reducing and now it's much lower. I have been staking sps since the beginning so I could grab some nice and juicy apr through my stake. Although my sps stake was not big but with increased apr my earning did not fluctuate much. By the time the APR is reduced, I was able to build a good holding which is why I could earn a decent daily sps tokens.  #### SPS combined staking APR Sps is a governance token of splinterlands and we have seen multiple use case added in the token economy. It's been a long time when I did calculate the combined apr for sps stake so I did it today. Below is the snapshot that shows how much I am earning. Currently I have 81k SPS and all the coins are staked in my game account.  The combined apr is 49% and I earn $2.49 approximately. This includes sps, voucher and GLX tokens and if I stake GLX then also I can earn additional apr which is a bonus. This earning of 49% is very good and I am going to continue with the same as I don't think that I can get better than this. #### Increasing SPS holding As I mentioned that I have 81k sps as of now but I am staking all the rewards along with buying from the market. This is how I am growing my overall holding and my next goal is to have 100k sps in next few months. With 100k sps I hope to earn even more but with 49% is a great option to continue with sps staking in the game account. I also have 1 sps validator node licence and this is paying me approx 4 voucher and 22 sps. I have a plan to buy one more in next few months because I believe that later this is going to be a great way to generate sps. It's my long term investment in the game. I paid $ 2000 for the license but now it's available at lower price. #### Land on the game Lands on splinterlands is a big thing but we don't have more details about it. I hope that with lands also we will get the option to generate more sps and this is how we can add more coins to the sps stake. To be honest, I am getting greedy with sps as the more I get then the more I want to have. It's same like hive power that everyone wants to have as much as possible. Staking apr at the current rate is much profitable and it's a good option provided within the game account. There are pools where also we can earn a decent apr but I don't think we can earn more than this. Even if this is higher than also we need to have 2 assets to deposit in the pool and this is why I prefer to stake in game account. I have no plan to unstake and only accumulation is the plan for me as of now. #### Buying SPS now The current sps price is low and it's difficult to say if this will drop further or not. I think it's a good time to buy provided we have long term goals and since I have the same so I am buying.
