My sketchbook. Take the first step


Today I want to share my thoughts with you. I will talk a little about the past, a little about the present and the future ...

When I first started drawing (two years ago), I thought that drawing on separate sheets of paper is not aesthetically pleasing ... and it is better not to draw then (how wrong I was!). Therefore, the first year I painted very rarely, a couple of times a month. And I decided that I need to buy a sketchbook and draw in it. But since the cost of the sketchbook is very expensive, I decided it was cheaper to make it myself.

This is my very first sketchbook ... and I did it myself! There is plain paper and cardboard on the covers)) It opens 180 degrees and is sewn with threads. How much time it took me to not count (it would be better if I painted all this time!) ... Since then I know that the price of the product includes not only the cost of materials, but also labor. And if I do not have a sketchbook - then it's better to draw just on paper and do not waste time building it)) And so I came to buying a sketchbook, because it's much easier to draw on the road or on the street. And it's very convenient to take it with you!

I believe that this sketchbook I made is my talisman ... because thanks to this sketchbook I had: a small professional sketchbook from maxgoods for markers, which I won in the contest, and the first sale of the illustration. The cats that were drawn in this sketchbook now live in France, and the sketchbook lacks one page))) The most amazing thing about this story is that I sold the cats for the tokens of the GOLOS network!

Yes, this sketchbook is not perfect, like the pictures in it, but it's the first one. And with its acquisition, I began to paint every day. The illustrations in it are dear to me, because I look at them and see who I was when I was just starting to paint. And it's been only one year since then. So many events - one year! Think about it!)))
