Fajitas de Carne con Pan Plano / Beef Fajitas with Flatbread

Saludos cordiales, comunidad de Foodies Bee Hive. En esta ocasión una receta sencilla y con pocos ingredientes, fajitas de carne de res con pan plano, una comida rápida para un almuerzo de domingo.

## Ingredientes 

Para las fajitas:

- 500gr de carne de res cortada en fajitas o tirias finas.
- 1/2 pimentón verde cortado en tiras.
- 1/2 pimentón rojo cortado en tiras.
- 1 cebolla cortada en juliana.
- 2 o 3 dientes de ajo.
- Sal, pimienta y paprika al gusto.
- 1 cucharadita de sazonador.
- 1 cucharada de salsa inglesa.
- 1 cucharada de maicena.

Para el pan plano:

- 400 gr de harina de trigo todo uso.
- 1 cucharada de aceite.
- 1 cucharadita de sal.
- 250 ml de agua templada.

>- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce.
>- 1 tablespoon cornstarch.
>
>For the flat bread:
>
>- 400 gr all-purpose wheat flour.
>- 1 tablespoon of oil.
>- 1 teaspoon salt.
>- 250 ml of warm water.

## Procedimiento

Para preparar las fajitas, primero condimentaremos la carne con sal, pimienta y paprika al gusto y agregaremos el ajo cortado en trocitos pequeños (1), agregaremos el sazonador, la salsa inglesa (2) y para finalizar una cucharada de maicena (3), mezclaremos todo y dejaremos marinar por diez a quince minutos.

Pasado el tiempo, lo pondremos a saltear en una sartén con uno o dos cucharadas de aceite bien caliente (4), saltearemos por unos diez minutos, moviéndolo ocasionalmente con una cuchara de madera, para que se dore por todas partes (5), cuando se haya dorado, agregaremos la cebolla y los pimientos (6) y continuaremos salteando por unos cinco minutos más, lo suficiente para ablandar sólo un poco los vegetales, pues queremos que se mantengan crocantes.

Para preparar los panes planos, colocaremos la harina, el aceite y la sal en un bol (7), y agregaremos el agua de a poco (8), mezclando mientras lo hacemos. Para amasar podemos hacerlo con máquina o a mano (9), lo importante es hacerlo hasta obtener una masa suave y que no se pegue a las paredes del bol ni a las manos, que dejaremos reposar, cubierta por un film, por 15 minutos.

Cuando la masa haya reposado, la estiraremos y dividiremos en 12 partes (10) más o menos iguales a las que daremos forma de bolita. Espolvorearemos la superficie de trabajo y tomaremos una bolita que aplastaremos primero con la mano y luego con un rodillo, hasta darle la forma de un disco de unos 2 o 3 milímetros de grosor (11), que luego espolvorearemos con otro poco de harina para que no se pegue y reservaremos, repetiremos la operación con cada bolita de masa.

Finalmente llevaremos cada disco de masa a una sartén caliente ligeramente aceitada con una brocha y cocinaremos hasta que estén dorados por cada lado (12), aproximadamente 2 o 3 minutos por lado.

Sólo nos queda servir nuestras fajitas y panes, que podemos acompañar con una ensalada de lechuga y tomate, para comerlos, podemos hacerlo colocando sobre el pan las fajitas y la ensalada, ponerle un poco de mayonesa, salsa tártara, hummus, salsa ranchera y otro aderezo de su gusto y envolverlo todo con el pan, para formar una especie de enrollado, una rica comida para compartir con la familia, espero sea de su agrado.
