Guiso de Garbanzos y Chuletas Ahumadas / Chickpea and Smoked Chops Stew

Saludos cordiales, comunidad de Foodies Bee Hive. En esta publicación una sencilla, pero agradable receta casera, un guiso de garbanzos y chuletas ahumadas, espero que sea de su agrado.

## Ingredientes 

- 2 chuletas ahumadas grandes (600 gr aproximadamente), cortadas en cubos.
- 1 1/2 tazas de garbanzos cocidos.
- 1/2 cebolla cortada en julianas.
- 1/2 pimentón cortado en julianas.
- 2 ajíes dulces cortados en julianas finas.
- 1 papa mediana cortada en cubos medianos.
- 1 zanahoria cortada en cubos medianos.
- 2 cucharadas de extracto de tomate
- 1/2 cucharadita de pimentón ahumado picante
- 1/2 cucharadita de onoto molido
- 1 cucharadita de ajo molido
- Sal, pimienta y sazonador al gusto.

>## Ingredients

>- 2 large smoked chops (600 gr approximately), cut into cubes.
>- 1 1/2 cups of cooked chickpeas.
>- 1/2 onion cut into julienne strips.
>- 1/2 bell pepper cut into julienne strips.
>- 2 sweet peppers cut in fine julienne strips.
>- 1 medium potato cut in medium cubes.
>- 1 carrot cut in medium cubes.
>- 2 tablespoons of tomato extract
>- 1/2 teaspoon of smoked hot paprika.
>- 1/2 teaspoon ground onoto
>- 1 teaspoon ground garlic
>- Salt, pepper and seasoning to taste.

## Procedimiento

Para empezar, calentaremos una o dos cucharadas de aceite en una cacerola, luego le agregaremos el pimentón en julianas (1), la cebolla (2) y el ají (3), mezclaremos todo (4) y dejaremos que se sofría por unos dos minutos a fuego medio alto.

A continuación agregaremos la chuleta cortada en cubos e incluiremos los huesos para darle más sabor (5), revolveremos y saltearemos por unos 5 minutos (6).

Pasado el tiempo agregaremos los condimentos (7), mezclaremos (8), agregaremos el extracto de tomate, las papas y las zanahorias (9), mezclamos todo (10), agregamos agua hasta cubrir los vegetales (11) y dejamos cocinar tapado por unos diez minutos (12), a fuego medio, hasta que las papas se hayan ablandado.

>After the time has elapsed, add the seasonings (7), mix (8), add the tomato extract, potatoes and carrots (9), mix everything (10), add water to cover the vegetables (11) and let cook covered for about ten minutes (12), over medium heat, until the potatoes have softened.

Pasado el tiempo, destaparemos, corregiremos el sabor (13) y agregaremos los garbanzos cocidos (14), mezclaremos y dejaremos cocinar por otros cinco minutos para que reduzca el líquido al nivel que queramos (15), y estarán listos para servir. Yo lo reduje hasta que la salsa empezó a engrosar un poco.

>After the time has elapsed, uncover, correct the taste (13) and add the cooked chickpeas (14), mix and let it cook for another five minutes to reduce the liquid to the level we want (15), and it will be ready to serve. I reduced it until the sauce began to thicken a little.

Obtendremos un rico y reconfortante guiso, ligeramente picante por el pimentón ahumado picante, y levemente dulce por el tomate y la zanahoria, en casa lo acompañamos con arroz, pero puede comerse acompañado con un poco de pan o incluso solo. Espero que sea de su agrado.
