Moving Patio Blocks on the Garden Railroad
<center><h2>Hello, hivers!</h2></center>

For this post, I want to show you a short video that I made of moving patio paver blocks with my garden railroad. My regular followers are familiar with my building of this garden railroad, I've written 7 posts about the process of building it. I still have several more posts to write about the continuing process of building the railroad. I think if I tried to cram the entire process into just a couple of posts, they would be way too long, I have a lot of pictures of the process.

This garden railroad that I've built is a 7-1/2 inch gauge track, that is the distance between the rails. 7-1/2 inch gauge is one of the more popular "ride on" railroad gauges in the U.S. In Great Britain and parts of Canada, 7-1/4 inch gauge is the standard. I think that builders in Australia also use the 7-1/4 inch gauge, but I'm not sure on that.

I built this railroad for moving heavy stuff from the alley, where I unload it from my vehicle, up to the area of the greenhouse. I also ride on the flatcar occasionally, just for fun.

Here is the video that I made about moving patio paver blocks. It's about 2 minutes long, just a short video.

Thanks for stopping by to check out this video!

Yes, I finally got the track adjusted so that the car stays on the track around the curve.

That is awesome! I have been wanting to show your posts to my father, who worked on the railroad for 28 years. He would love this but he's abroad right now. I find it strange that those gauges are only 1/4 inch different. Reminds me of the period of history when the U.S. was standardizing the railroad and the back breaking work to shift some rails mere inches closer or farther apart.
It looks complete to me. What else still needs to be done?

The track is almost done unless I want to extend the length of it on one end. I still need a bit more ballast gravel to finish up the work.
