皆さんのお住まいの地区、出身地に、当然方言があると思います。 この言葉判る方います？ # 離合 # 判った方は西の地方に住んでいるか出身者ですね？(笑) 私はつい数年前までこれを標準語だと思っていました。 「りごう」と読みます。 今回の広辞苑の改訂で、「離合」の意味も追加されたそうです。従来の「はなれたり集まったりする事」という説明のほかに「列車や自動車が行違うこと」というのが加わったという事です。 そして私が使っていたのが、後者。写真のような状況です。  先日、タモリさんの番組で「離合」という言葉を使った学芸員の方に、九州出身ですか？と聞いていましたが、今自分の出身高校同窓会のHPで情報発信している話の中で、同じ地域なのに通じる言葉、通じない言葉なんかがあったりして、方言の魅力凄いものがあるなーと思っています。

それは…多分、方言の強いお年寄りとか、方言の強い地域の言葉でしょうね。 私は夫の両親の話す言葉が既によくわからない時があります。 方言って面白いと思いますよ。

「北九州弁はほぼ標準語！」と思っていた幼い頃が懐かしいです。全然違うし！(笑) 全く聞いて判らない方言はかえって戸惑ったりすることもあったりして。 面白いですよね。
