Today am gonna make a quick overview of the blockchain and crypto space as well as a new technology/platform**[AERGO]** which I believe will definately disrupt the crypto space as well as serve as a major upgrade for the capabilities of BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY

# INTRODUCTION AND OVERVIEW OF BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY

The blockchain technology is a product of the internet invented by a pseudo personality known as SATOSHI nakamoto in 2009 to serve as an open space for cryptocurrencies to exist.In simpler terms,the blockchain is a cryptographic distributed ledger for storing transactions and hosting decentralised applications and currencies- **amec 2018**

The features of the blockchain technology has also made it possible for numerous businesses and tech start ups to kickstart their projects and ideas on the blockchain for implementation and developments. 

The blockchain space has so far recorded enormous projects been built on it,but most of these projects find it difficult to fully execute their protocols as well as initiate future upgrades and developments of their projects.

This is a public protocol on the aergo platform that is set to operate on DPOS consensus by default but can be configured to run on other consensus mechanisms such as pos,pow to suit the requirements of its users.

Aergo chain is also designed to handle millions of transactions per second through a new smart contract system as well as scale up and scale out of blockchain networks in other to satisfy the requirements of enterprises which will be running on it.

# AERGO HUB
The aergo hub is an open interactive avenue where developers,enterprise owners and related participants can easily access computing power to run their decentralised applications.

The aergo marketplace is a shop for the utilities in the aergo ecosystem,computing resources,softwares and related services will be available for sale on the aergo market place.

In the same vein,the aergo marketplace is also presumed to be filled with participants such as software developers and potential enterprises which plan to build and manage blockchain projects on aergo.

It will not appear as a surprise to see a significant growing market of developers on the aergo marketplace.

# AERGO TOKEN
The aergo token is the native and proposed utility token which interconnects the other components of the aergo ecosystem,aergo tokens have intrinstic value that comes from its meaningful use in the aergo ecosystem,such uses includes;
1=Running  the  smart  contract (AERGOSQL
2=DPOS  consensus  algorithm payment  method  for  Blocko’s  technical  support  on  Coinstack  4.0
3=medium of exchange and payment method for all the earlier listed services in the aergo ecosystem

Aergo also has a roadmap which contains details about project operation and execition as shown in the image below;

From the roadmap,we can deduct that some features of aergo such as the hub have not yet been deployed but will be available on/before Q3 2019.The good news is that their smart contract[aergosql] has already been deployed which means we will most likely see some early adoption on the aergo chain.

**CONCLUSION: aergo is simply an upgrade[4th gen blockchain] in the blockchain space and am of the opinion that it will really make waves especially because of its dpos consensus and the possibility for projects to launch on its platform and easily select a consensus compatible for them as well as enjoy a mainnet integration without having to build it all from scratch which might result in an epic failure.As far as I can tell, I havent seen any other project propose or deliver these features which is exactly why aergo will surely do well.**
