I’ve never known life any better, growing up wasn’t the better part of my life. Life wasn’t easy, losing both parents and having to step up as the first child to be there for my younger ones.
My name is Laura and I’m the parent of 3 children, well susan shouldn’t really be considered a child but there’s Rose and Bobby, the power twin as they love to call themselves. I’ve lived and done everything for my Babies, no sacrifice is sacrifice enough for them. Despite their excesses, I love my siblings and i wouldn’t have them any other way.
We went through a lot after losing both parents, but God came through as always.
I’m doing better now and we’re living quite comfortably.I just have one Problem…or two

Love and Marriage!!
Don’t get me wrong, i want to get married it’s just…
I’ve kissed a lot of frogs, I honestly don’t know why I haven’t turned into one.
My love life is non existent, 
I mean i really liked Nathan but he had serious womanizing problems, it just didn’t work out. 
Then there was Gabriel “the Goldfish” as Susan calls him (yes,he is bloody rich) but he’s so dirty i just can’t deal with him.
Jacob was the worse! He always pretended to like my siblings and he wanted a house wife.
I’ve dated the worst of men i know and there’s Philip, I don’t even like to mention him because well he doesn’t put two and two together if you know what i mean.
Zero Fashion sense, He doesn’t use perfumes(apparently there are a waste of money).  Asides those factors he’s a perfect gentleman.


When he approached me those years ago, I knew what he wanted but like everyother smart woman, i quickly moved him to the friend zone. 
You know those guys you just want as friends because they’re amazing but you can’t date.

He just isn’t my type, we had a little fall out early last year about the friend zone thing, a little later he left the country for his masters.
It’s been more than a year now we haven’t really talked except for times when he’d call my siblings to check on them and that’s something else i love about him. He loves my babies a lot.
Anyways i heard from Susan he’s back in the country and he wanted to know if it’s okay to come for dinner. I mean he could’ve just asked me but whatever, I don’t care anyways.
I made dinner with susan, and Rose and Bobby did a little deco to welcome him, isn’t it a little much…

I couldn’t decide what to wear, I don’t want to look like I’m trying to impress him but i need to look good too. 
If i get susan involved she wouldn’t let me hear the last of it, so i settled for a simple short maroon dress, perfect for my skin tone, very light makeup and i let my hair down after curling.
I looked a little much but then again, i look like this every day right, I’m not trying to impress anyone. Susan came to call me, i guess he’s here. 
Deep breathes, wait it’s just philip anyways
The moment I stepped out of my room, i smelt that sweet masculine scent, wait, is that cologne? Philip doesn’t believe in perfume. Or at least he didn’t.
There he was in all his glory, looking like something I ordered from Louis Vuitton. Had he always looked this good? He stood across the room, half-smiling at me, i guess he felt a little awkward. I had my mind fixed on a lot of things, his perfectly arranged white teeth, his dark hair that fell perfectly on his face, those beautiful brown eyes, What a fine specimen of a man! 
Wait, his mouth is moving, i think he’s talking to me and he rushes out and comes back in with someone, SOMEONE, A GIRL, A VERY PRETTY GIRL!
My heart did a weird little flip, Why was it flipping? It’s just philip. And that girl, that very pretty girl. Who is she?!
