✨ Green Smoothie Of The Day: Tropical Holy Basil Elixir ✨

Market day today ;) Yipee! Though I'm leaving to the coast in 2 days to go on a house hunt, my hubby is staying home so I'm gonna get lots of veggies and fruits to make sure he has everything in the house to make yummy plant-based meals.

There are already a few home-cooked dishes in the freezer and today and tomorrow I'm making a stew and a curry so we can freeze a few other meals.

As for the posting, I'm staying at my friends' tapas bar and guesthouse so I'm not sure if I will able to squat their kitchen to cook a few dishes... maybe on the closing days... we'll see. Green smoothies will be possible I reckon since they are not open during the day and they have a blender ;)

If food posts are not possible, I'm planning to make a few health coaching/life and travel posts instead of dishes.

Or maybe you can all help me pick a new house.... anyways, I'm getting excited to move back to the jungley coast in just a month... here in Cambodia there is no looking for a house months up front. I'm going down now for as long as it takes, will sign the contract, pay the deposit and move in... simple as that.

But let's get on with the smoothie of the day. I'm sure I'll bore you enough in the coming week with my house hunting stories.

Since I had a cold the past few days I have been eating and drinking a lot of holy basil (aka Tulsi), turmeric, and ginger. This smoothie has it all.... healing and yum! Win-win!

## Ingredients (Serves 3)
--------
1/2 - 1 cup holy basil or Tulsi
1 carrot
1 cup papaya chunks
1 cup pineapple chunks
1 cup mango chunks
3 passion fruit
1 banana (frozen for extra creaminess)
Fresh turmeric to taste
fresh ginger to taste
2 tbsp unsalted peanut butter
3 cups water
Chia seeds (optional topping)
Goji berries (optional topping)

## Directions
-----
1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. If the smoothie is too thick add more water.
2. Optional: Top with superfoods such as chia seeds and goji berries if you like
