The way to know, is to do - Vietnam, SaPa

While traveling round I learned that some cultures see beadwork, stitching, sewing, and domestic work as a highly valued ability. Here is a woman making beauty from her mind an heart to win someone with her talent of such work.

The focus of this woman, her hands like smooth lace to string those beads the way she knows, something inside is able to grow.

With a long needle she picks the beads out from a bow that is filled with clout.

Ill purchase some cloth, something to keep me warm. Not much is ever bough but the skill needs to be worn with me, to have a bit that I can use and remember those days when this woman sat there and beaded, pleaded with her work, to be colourful on all fronts.
