People think that hacking a Gmail account is easy and all they need is a hack tool online or offline, but the truth is very different. In fact, they are very aware of these hacking techniques and security researchers around the world find and report security breaches to Google. So how come some people get their hacked Gmail account password when there is no hack tool? Yes, there are ways to hack a Google or Gmail account. Here is one of the ways that hackers can hack your Gmail / Google account and preventative measures. How does social engineering work?

The most common technique for hacking Gmail accounts. There is not much knowledge required here. Social engineering is essentially a process of gathering information about someone whose account you have to hack into. Information such as date of birth, cell phone number, friend's cell phone number, nickname, mother's name, place of origin, etc.


Security Question

Many websites have a common password reset option called Security Question. Most common security questions are "What is your nickname?", "What is your place of origin?" Or any custom question defined by the user. Obtaining this information from those involved could allow us to hack into their account. Gmail also provides a security issue as a password recovery option. So, if anyone knows the answer, he can hack your account using the forgotten password option.

The most common and weak passwords

The security question does not allow you to easily access other Gmail accounts. But setting a weak password could easily be used to hack your account. What is a weak password? A password that can easily be guessed is called a weak password. Below are some of the most used passwords by Gmail users.

- Mobile Number
- Nickname / Name and Date of Birth Conjunction
- Boy Friend’s / Girl Friend’s Mobile Number 
- Boy Friend’s / Girl Friend’s Name 😛
- Boy Friend and Girl Friend Name Combination
- Bike Number
- Unused / Old Mobile Number
- Pet Name
- Closest Person Name (can be friends too)


Change your Gmail password now if you have any one of the weak passwords stated above.
