Most of you think the blockchain allows you completely free speech. That is wrong, but not because of the blockchain itself.

# Why does the blockchain not guarantee free speech?

The blockchain allows you direct access to information stored on itself, through other computers. The blockchain is completely decentralized and if somebody tries to change it they can't use the old version of it. Basically nobody owns the blockchain and anybody can do what they want as long as it is predefined in the code. 

if this is all true why can't you have free speech?

# You use the internet

all internet providers (in the united states and most other countries) provide your internet connection..... they own it and lend it to you for a set rate. This means your connection to the internet is private property and thus can be limited by the corporation. Free speech is a lie they just want to see what you will say and track you when you say it. They can shut it down at any time.
