In recent years, coworking spaces and hubs have become increasingly popular around the world, where everyone can come to work in the desired atmosphere or get a space to hold their own event. In Ukraine, such spaces are extremely popular, and since the outbreak of the war, they have become even more popular. Initially, due to regular rocket attacks on critical infrastructure, we had problems with electricity, and we had schedules of blackouts to restore the power system. However, we had to keep working, so everyone who had no electricity at home could come to the coworking space to work there. The generators provided uninterrupted power supply to these facilities.
At the same time, social challenges always receive a counter-response in the form of new powerful ideas and activities. That is why over the past two years, a large number of spaces have emerged where anyone can get a free room to hold their event.
And today we will talk about one of these spaces.
Aware zone is a space in the centre of Kyiv designed for enterprising young people who want to implement their ideas for the better future of society and their country.
It is the ideology of the institution that is always reflected in its interior. This is how the architectural works of each of the past eras were built, and this is how even the smallest café, restaurant or coworking space is created now.
So, let's see what the space for initiative youth looks like.
The hub itself is relatively small and can accommodate no more than 100 people. However, due to the placement of furniture and decorative elements, the spatial feeling is increased and there is plenty of room to walk around. At the entrance, we are immediately greeted by a banner like this, which visually shows the ideology of this room. "We support those who support the country" - this is what it says. There are also sponsor logos around this inscription.
And this is a truly charitable project, because the space is available for use free of charge.
Moving on, we see a lot of free space that can be used as a stage. There are also paintings by young and still unpopular Ukrainian artists. This adds more artistic expression and softness to the interior.
A huge plus is that the hub provides its guests with all the necessary equipment: a multimedia board, chairs, microphones and speakers.
At the same time, there is a break area where you can eat. Everyone can take water and buy snacks. And I almost forgot: the hub has a lot of books to read. This adds 100 points to the interior.
And another place where you can perform. And there is access to the terrace, which can also be used for rent. Unfortunately, I couldn't take a picture of the terrace because it was undergoing some minor renovations.
In my opinion, it's a great place to implement your ideas, because not only is the fully equipped space free of charge, but it's also very stylish.

Останні роки у світі почали набирати популярності коворкінги та хаби, де кожен може прийти попрацювати у бажаній атмосфері або ж отримати простір для проведення свого заходу. В України такі простори надзвичайно популярні, а з початком війни отримали ще більшої популярності. Спочатку, через регулярні ракетні обстріли критичної інфраструктури були проблеми зі світлом, ми мали графіки відключень за для того щоб відновити енергосистему. Однак, працювати далі треба було, саме тому кожен, у кого не було електроенергії вдома міг прийти в коворкінг аби попрацювати там. За рахунок генераторів світло у подібних закладах подавалося безперебійно.
Паралельно з тим, соціальні виклики завжди отримують контр-відповідь у вигляді нових потужних ідей та активностей. Саме тому за останні два роки з'явилася велика кількість просторів де кожен може отримати безкоштовно приміщення за для реалізації свого заходу.
І про один із таких просторів сьогодні піде мова.
Aware zone - це простір у центрі Києва, призначений для ініціативної молоді, яка прагне втілювати свої ідеї за для кращого майбутнього суспільства та своєї країни.
Саме ідейність закладу завжди відображається у її інтер'єрі. Так будувалися зразки архітектурної творчості кожної з минулих епохи, так зараз створюється навіть найменше кафе, ресторан чи от коворкінг.
Тому, будемо дивитися як виглядає простір для ініціативної молоді.
Саме приміщення хабу відносно невелике, і може вмістити не більше 100 людей. Однак, через розміщення меблів та елементів декору просторове відчуття збільшується і є де розгулятися. При вході нас одразу зустрічає ось такий баннер, на якому візуально ми можемо відстежити ідейність цього приміщення. "Підтримуємо тих, хто підтримує країну" - так на ньому написано. А також навколо цього напису логотипи спонсорів.
І це дійсно благодійний проєкт, адже простір надається до використання безкоштовно.
Проходячи далі бачимо багато вільного місця, яке можна використовувати як сцену. Також тут висять картини молодих і поки що непопулярних українських художників. Це додає більшої художньої виразності та м'якості інтер'єру.
Величезним плюсом є те, що хаб надає своїм гостям все необхідне обладнання: мультимедійну дошку, стільці, мікрофони та колонки.
Поряд із тим тут є зона перепочинку, де можна поїсти. Кожен може взяти собі води та купити снеки. І мало не забула: у хабі багато книг, які можна почитати. І для інтер'єру це додає 100 балів.
І ще одне місце, де можна виступати. І є вихід на терасу, яку теж можна використовувати для оренди. На жаль, терасу невдалося сфотографути, адже там проводились невеликі ремонтні роботи.
На мій погляд, це чуде місце для втілення своїх ідей, адже мало того що повністю обладнаний простір надається безкоштовно, до того ж він дуже стильний.
