Soubresaut de la nature / Jolt of nature

Quelques jours d'absence sur Hive...
La nature était en colère ces derniers temps dans mon coin de pays. 
Des vents violents ont causé bien des dommages ; arbres cassés ou déracinés s'effondrant sur les toits des maisons et sur des fils électriques. Des débris d'arbres jonchaient les rues un peu partout.  
Tout le voisinage s'est mis à la tâche pour libérer les chemins encombrés.
Un beau concert de scies à chaine :)
Du jamais vu par ici !
Pour nous, ce fut un arbre sur nos voitures et notre bardeau de toit envolé.
Et en bonus, 10 jours sans électricité ni eau courante.
Bon, on s'en remet tranquillement. la vie a repris son cours.
Je suis suis allée me promener aujourd'hui sur la piste cyclable et j'ai pris quelques clichés pour vous.

*A few days of absence on Hive...
Nature has been angry lately in my neck of the woods. 
High winds caused a lot of damage; broken or uprooted trees collapsed on the roofs of houses and on electrical wires. Tree debris littered the streets.  
All the neighbors set to work to free the congested paths.
A beautiful concert of chainsaws:)
Never seen it around here!
For us, it was a tree on our cars and our roof shingle flew away.
And as a bonus, 10 days without electricity or running water.
Well, we’re getting back on our feet. Life is back to normal.
I took a walk today on the bike path and took some pictures for you.

Oui on va bien, merci :) Effectivement pour le bois de chauffage, on fait des réserves pour le prochain hiver. Et pas besoin de permis de la ville pour couper des arbres, on fait le ménage des arbres morts en même temps. Ça compte, car c'est vraiment rendu très cher la corde de bois !

Oh lala, ce devait être impressionnant ! Vos voitures ont l'air de s'en sortir sans trop de dégâts, heureusement .. j'espère que ce ne sont que quelques griffes dans la carrosserie, mais rien qui ne les empêchent de rouler.
10 jours sans électricité ni eau courante, ça ne doit pas être génial non plus, déjà rien que quelques heures, c'est dérangeant ! C'est à ces moments-là qu'on se rend compte combien c'est précieux !

Oui effectivement, pas trop de dégât !
Après, on apprécie encore plus les commodités usuelles. En mai, la température est douce, au moins on a pas froid, car en hiver ça se complique, il faut trouver un mode de chauffage et surveiller les conduits d'eau pour ne pas qu'ils gèlent.
