The Lord Jesus here reveals that even the smallest assembly of God's people, comprising only of two or three believers, can effect supernatural changes and do the impossible through the prayer of agreement.

Is there a change you want to effect in your life, family, job or in your city? Is there something happening that you don't like? Or is there something that you want to happen or prevent from happening? Call up two or three other believers; explain the issues and pray in agreement for a change.

Don't just say, "Agree with me...," and start talking and praying; explain the issues, so they can agree with you from their hearts. There has to be a "heart-agreement," not a "head-agreement."

That's the reason you'd need to outline and clarify what you want, so they can catch the vision with you and pray in agreement.

When I need to pray about certain things with some leaders in our ministry, I don't just call them and say, "Gentlemen, let's pray about so-and-so"; no! I will first explain the issues to them, and before I'm through, they're already "charged"; everybody wants something done immediately, and then we start the prayer. It's not enough to have people pray for you or with you; there has to be an agreement.

The Master has given the word: __*"...If two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my father which is in heaven"*__ (Matthew 18:19).

So, don't wait anymore. Put this to work. Take advantage of the power of the prayer of agreement; use it to change your life and that of others. Use it to change your city, nation, and environment for the glory of God.

Amen and great post!  I would add that, in the event that for whatever reason, someone does not have any friends or fellow believers available, then the Holy Spirit and Lord Himself are in agreement with us, as He will never leave nor forsake us and as it says in 1 John 5:14, He always hears our prayers.
