***HI! ANNYEONG! KONNICHIWA HIVERS! It’s @angelwingsss again and today I’m going to share with you our last day in school as a 3rd year student.***

So, last month, May 28, 2025, was our last day for our final’s week. It was the day where we took our last final exam in our two subjects, which was Environmental Science and Functional English. That day was also our last day as 3rd year student since we’re about to be a 4th year student and OJT in the next semester or school year.

That day, I woke up around 6 am since our first exam will start at 9 am, which is Functional English. I ask my dad to drive me to my university, but unfortunately, he couldn’t since he also have work that day at 8 am. I told him that it was okay cause it’s also partially my fault that I didn’t wake up early for him to drive me in my school before 8 am. So, I just commuted to my university. I rode a tricycle to Liloan and then waited for a jeepney. That day, there was no available jeepney that its route is to my school, so I decided to ride a mini buss instead because I was in a hurry to since it was already 8:20 that time so I might get late, and I don’t want to be late at school cause it’s our last exam. That day, I also wore a pink shirt for good luck charm since pink is my favorite color and to be honest, I did not have enough time to study both exams too so I’m just really trying my best that time to pass my test exams.

It was 8:52 am when I arrived at my school. I went straight finding our assigned room where we will be taking our first exam since there is no fixed or designated room assigned to this subject because our instructor is from COT department, and only CME instructors have a designated rooms in our building. I couldn’t find our room, so I went looking for my friend and luckily, I found her at the study area. I went to her and saw that some of my classmates are there too so, I asked her where our room is? And she said that our instructor hasn’t message to our group chat yet so, we waited there.

It was around 9:12 am, when our instructor message us and told us that we will be using room 303 so, we went there and waited for our instructor to arrive. While waiting, I took the chance to recap everything that I studied the night before our exam, and it was then that our instructor arrived. I was really nervous taking my exam so I used pencil first to answer my test paper so I have the chance to erase it later if my answer is wrong or not sure, because our instructor told us that there will be no erasure in our exam. I finished answering my exam quite early so there were still students answering. When everyone finished answering their test papers, our instructor told us that we will be checking our test paper that day, we were so shocked because we are not ready to know our scores. They check first the test papers of set a students then followed by the set b students, since there are two set of test papers to avoid students from cheating. After checking, I found out that my score was 41/50, I was so shocked and happy because I didn’t expect that I would pass this exam, but still I was thankful because I really did my best to answer it properly.

After our first exam, we waited in the stairs for our next and last exam in that day too. While waiting, I did some recap again on everything that a learn and studied the last part of the coverage for this exam. The same as the first subject, I also didn’t get to study well because I was lacking some parts of the coverage, but what gaslighted me is that the type of exam we have for our last subject is multiple choice, so I just need to read the questions properly because some of it are situational and then choice the right answer. I also use pencil first for me to have chance to erase my answer, since our instructor told us that there will be no erasure in our test papers too. My friend was late that time and didn’t get the chance to take both exams on time, luckily, both instructors gave her a chance to take that same day to their respective offices, so she went there, and we waited for her to finish her exam.

While waiting, our class president gave us a drawing book where we can write any thing that we want to say for our Housekeeping instructor. We took turns on writing our message and in the last part, we also draw our section together with our instructor to show how grateful we are to her. When my friend got back, she told us about our scores on our last subject because our instructor asked her to check our test papers. She told me that my score was 48/50, when I heard that I was shocked! Like as in very shock! I was overwhelmed because I did not expect to score that high. I was just praying and hoping that I could just pass my test exams that day, but God had a different plan. All of us passed both exams in that day so we went to McDonalds to have a simple celebration to all our hard works and sleepless nights had paid off.

We rode a tricycle for us to get to our destination and when we got to the establishment itself, there were a lot of customers, so it took while for us to find a table and order. When we found a table, it was near the entrance door, each of us took turns on ordering in the kiosk and we also pay it individually. After eating our meal, we then part ways with my other friend and rode a mini buss again.
