The big and most important challenge that you must be able to handle well if you want to become a food blogger is "shy".


A food blogger is required to take pictures of foods and restaurants. This task is not so easy. You are in a public place and many people will see you.

There will always be people who think that you are like someone who has never eaten in a restaurant and you look like you like to show off on social media. They will look at you cynically. It's something food bloggers will always accept.

So, your main task as a food blogger is to get rid of the shame of creating content in public places, in cafes, in restaurants. If you are shy, then you will fail.

Food pictures and also related to the food place are the most important content to fill your blog. So if you are shy about taking pictures, what will you post on your blog?


To be honest, even now I am still a little shy about creating content in certain restaurants. But then I changed my mindset, things about the restaurant would be too bad if not made into content because the restaurant deserves to be known by many people.

## The Strongest Motivation in You As a Food Blogger

I usually motivate myself with a few things, so that I'm not shy about creating content about food in a restaurant.

The motivations that I usually do to get rid of shame and encourage me to be more enthusiastic about creating content are as follows:

#### 1. I Have To Post About This Restaurant To Survive

Some of my friends also apply to this point. As a full-time food blogger who was still a beginner at that time, it was difficult for us to get paid by the brand owner. So we have to be more diligent in creating content about food and restaurant reviews.

Money is the strongest motivation for encouragement at work. There is no doubt about that. But you have to add another intention to this job, for example, intend to help the restaurant owner so that the restaurant is crowded. So, you will also have a responsibility to honestly review and put good quality on your content, not just to get paid for your content.

#### 2. Maybe I Will Never Find Food Like This Again

The next motivation so that you are not ashamed to take pictures of food in public is to think that "the food or drink you ordered at that time is an exclusive menu that may not be found anywhere else". So you have to take pictures of the food or drink. So far, that mindset is working for me.

Because in fact, there are some menus that are only produced at certain times and we will really miss them. When we have original content about those menus, it can also help a lot of people remember about it. So it will not in vain to take pictures of the food and drinks and also the place to eat.

We must learn to handle our shyness if we want to become a professional food blogger.
