What has been eating my tomatoes?

<center>It was with a look of surprise to see two  tomatoes with nibbling marks the other day.  How unusual!   Was it a little mouse simply because I could not think of any other little insect or animal that could climb up the tomato stem and stay comfortably long enough to savour the lovely tomato flavour.  I really need to be magnanimous was my first thought because  maybe this mouse has hit hard times like the rest of the world.  Then a little part of me was a tad taken back as I had been watching the tomatoes ripen just waiting for the right time to pick my little crop.  But, I waited too long, unbeknown by me there was a little creature waiting and watching too.</center>

<center>In all honesty how can I possibly be upset?  Vegetables are free for all, sharing is good.  There are more tomatoes growing on my plant.  Anyway this crop of tomatoes were the result of an old tomato that had sat for too long on the kitchen bench.  We just might pick them earlier than later next time round.</center>
