Good day to you all! Today I would like to share with you some of the features of steemgigs' "untalended editor." Many of you have heard of steemgigs and have learned what is it for. For the benefit of everyone I would like to share with you the "FAQ" post for it. This is the ultimate guide if you want to learn more about this new platform that leverages STEEM's blockchain technology. Once you are there will be this very clean and neat looking interface which kinda reminds me of simple a word processor environment. Basically it has 5 parts. The first part is the Title field where you input the desired title for your post.The maximum character allowable for the title is 90.

Then there is the content working area or description. It is here where you will be writing the contents of the post you want to share. I think there is no limit on how many words or characters you can write in this area (maybe someone can enlighten me of the limits if any). There are also tools to edit, modify and style your content here which I will cover later in this article.

The third part is the tags field, where you categorize what topic your content is all about. It must be noted that when using the "untalented editor" by default the first tag will be use is untalented which cannot be edited. Then there is the like ticker box if you want to "upvote" yourself right after you post the article. One cool feature in this editor compared to the standard editor is the fact that you have a upvote weight bar to selected what percentage you want to use without you having to have more than 500SP.

One of the lastly and fifth feature is the save and proceed button which is pretty much self explanatory.

Now let me delve in to the different formatting feature of the "untalented editor." To demonstrate the exact functions of each feature I have made several animated gif to show you the end results of each feature when enabling them. Lets first head unto "headings"

In this animated gif please note of a pop-out message that description or the content work area should have more than 300 characters or more. as I have earlier I have not determined the maximum words or characters you can post in this condenser, however there is a minimum wich is 300 characters. The next feature I would like to discuss with you is the text formatting tool. Again please see the gif below for another animated presentation of the feature.

There are four types of fonts font styling in steemgigs' "untalented editor." Two more than what is being used by steemit standard editor. There is the bold, Italics, underline and strikeout. Another feature that i want to discuss with you guys is the text alignment tool.

This functions as you regular alignment tool where you can align to the left, center or to the right. Notice that i did not did not use the justify alignment as it was not working at the time i was testing the editor.

To do quotes just position your cursor on the first word of the line or lines you want to quote then press the quotation mark in the menu. This will indent the text you wanted quoted with a horizontal line in front.

Another feature that is unique feature to this editor is to be able to do numbering. This might be also available to other editors but not included in the command menu.

This editor also as a ticker box function. I am not sure if this will show on the steemit page but we shall see when I post this article. I hope this one shows properly as I can think of many applications for this if it can.

Indents is another function that is not shown on other editors. This comes in handy when formating bullets and numbering.

Here is something new that I have not seen in steemit. I am sure you can format this using HTML scripts but having the ability to have functionality with a click of a mouse is awesome.

Highlights is another awesome function that is unique to this. I just hope this one is displayed in steemit as it will make post a lot more "colorful."

You can turn text lines into links with the link tool. This is alot easier than putting the asterix in your post. Then of course there is the insert tools for images and videos which I think are awesome as well.

Overall my experience using the editor is awesome. My only concern is if all the features that was enable in the editor can also be seen in the steemit site. Moreover I think there some performance issues using the editor as I obvered that the more elements I put in the content of the post using the above mentioned editor the browser interface is runnning slower.
