Greetings, dearest hivers, how are you? How do you find these midsummer days of June? While some of us are enjoying their well-earned summer vacation, to college students the rock of Sisyphus goes on.

As for me, the past days were total havoc; the end of the semester is fast approaching, and the multitudes of to-dos are also waving—the main reason as to why I haven't been actively uploading any blogs as much as I desired to. There come the major exams where you felt pressured to excel just to make up for the lapses you made from the past terms, the unmanageable paperwork, activities, and backlogs—it's easy to feel drowned by the list of what needs to be done. So this time, to pause from all this chaos, I want to show you a glimpse of how I get to spend most of my days in this one hell of a ride we call finals. Welcome to a day in the life of a psych student who's making miracles to survive this final's week.

<strong>Typical day to conquer </strong>
My day kicks off by 9:00 o'clock in the morning, as I attend my organic chemistry class. This class is divided into two parts—lecture and laboratory. Oftentimes we conducted experiments and empirically wrote our observations, a fun way of learning as you can experience for yourself the mechanisms beyond books and videos. However, for these finals, we just mostly delve into lectures to catch up on all our topics for this semester.

The amount of time and papers I have to spend on this subject is insane. I believe chemistry will be the death of me; I'm not even kidding, hivers. We have to make laboratory reports and journal reviews (IMRAD), and then there's our weekly list of activities. Nobody in the class can keep up—so much about chemistry.

It was then followed by the next subject, which is industrial/organizational psychology, a major sub that demands our full and active participation. (So I haven't taken any photos from the class.) At lunchtime, blessedly, my best friend invited me to lunch out. We ate at our favorite spot, and I ordered something filling and refreshing because the horrors of my degree are persisting; I need carbs to sustain me.

Then I rested for a while because at 2:30 I attended my Abnormal Psychology class, and we'll have a chapter test. I survived it, not worrying if I passed. In my mind I'm only glad it's over; now I just have to prepare for the final exam. After my afternoon class, I return to the office to print some reviewers. Because we'll have another quiz and one major exam coming up.

When I got home, my roommate cooked a very homely dinner for us. With gratitude I ate, and determined to rest my mind, I took a nap for a while. But because of having so much going on, I cannot fall asleep that easily, no matter how tired I am. So I just got up, bought myself some snacks and coffee, and proceeded to tend to the RRL chapter of our thesis, because this will be due in no time.

<strong>My Reflection </strong>
College life is just like this—sometimes it's boisterous and loud with so many celebrations going on, but most of the time it's the quiet sound of persistence, never wanting attention, just the slow and gradual process with faith that everything will eventually result in success. <img src="https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/anniesty/23xVHPbyi2EGG885f59bn7NhhMXUXLpY88qh2gHbrmZKwBDwhgbvqFiheJuHSq9SEwnv3.png" alt="$1">
