To introduce this development stream for our decentralized community moderation project, sharing this recent quick parody I slapped together from the Bane "Gotham is Yours" scene from The Dark Knight Rises...

In this parody, I point out aspects and/or prospects of Web3 that make it far superior to its Web2 counterparts.

In this dev stream, my goal will be to integrate Hive-Keychain into my Django project skeleton to be used for authentication and further development. 

This is a departure from the former plan of using HiveSigner hot-links for HDR abuse reporting functionality as Keychain is more user-friendly / convenient and was requested by community members. Thus, by popular demand, I will work to make it happen!

Ok so didn't quite accomplish the goal yet. I am kinda getting snagged on defining our models for our hive transactions which seem to be a dependency for generating one of the Django python scripts (forgot the name but it has to do with how the pages are rendered). Being that this is a test app. Think we can use the ones from the blog tutorial I am using and circle back to the models on a new app when we complete the keychain integration.

I did accomplish some things primarily learning which model fields we may use for our hive transactions with two questions that I need to figure out. 

1. Will a hive '@'+author+'/'+ permalink ever exceed 255 characters (this is likely a no) for our link charfield max_length. 

2. Will the Beem timestamp field be compatible with the Django datetime field natively or will we need to massage the data a bit.
