     This first meme is a testament to the struggles with my nemesis. That is resource intensive security software that is configured in a manner that kills productivity. 

     This can be via the restriction of automation capabilities or just pegging out CPU and "fun things" like that which make the Sysadmin game seem "literally unplayable". Often it is overzealous yet novice security professionals that think they are doing the right thing. A phrase that comes to mind is "cutting ones nose off to spite the face".

*There's actually an interesting yet morbid story behind the phrase.*

The way I see it. Often in the efforts to protect the network from the dreaded *Hackerman* the sec folks tend to ~~limit~~ negatively impact their own people. I mean it is true that insider threat is a thing but some people can take it a bit too far in my humble opinion. There is some degree of credence to the meme that McAfee is malware which I stated in a previous post.
