 Many people think that all knowledge comes from the “Source” or God. Other people think that all knowledge is locked up in our brains waiting to be discovered by someone who has unlocked that part of the brain which already knew it. I believe that the source of knowledge comes from our experiences and possibly from some sort of cosmic consciousness. Knowledge builds up over the centuries and passes from generation to generation. <strong>The universe knows all of its secrets and we as human beings have an obligation to figure it out, to better our lives. </strong>  <strong>Wave of possibilities</strong> We can’t be certain of anything until we observe its final destination. Everything in the universe is a wave of possibilities. All particles live in all possible locations until we observe it, then it exists in one location. History is subject to change by the powers at be, so we can never be certain of human history as politicians and rulers have a way of modifying history to suit their needs. I see it every time I look at history. When I was young, I was taught that Christopher Columbus discovered America. Now it appears that history has been changed saying that this is not true. This kind of thing has been happening all my life. So we can never be certain about what we know about our history of the world.  <strong>The news? Is it trustworthy?</strong> Another thing we can never be certain of is how we receive information via the news. Always changing, one day one thing is bad, the next it is good. The thing in the news that I can point out is, at first the Sunni Muslims were bad, and the Shiites were good. A few months later, the Sunnis were good and the Shiites were bad. Another year passes and now the Sunnis are bad again and the Shiites are good. Minor nit pick: the revolving door of moral commentary on Muslims in our news media doesn't necessarily mean that the news is an unreliable source of information, simply that it is a bad source of moral commentary. The media's goal is simple: keep you listening or watching. It is not in their interest to have a complex discussion about the morality of people half a world away, because most of us would tune out. As long as you take news for what it is - an imperfect but reasonable reporting of fact with any associated value judgement being bs - then you're fine.

I still don't trust the news. Every station has a slant. But I guess that everybody has a slant. It is very hard to be completely impartial. You make a good point, perhaps ignoring the judgement would make watching it more bearable.
