All of this is familiar to us here, but still there is a topic for conversation, as well as a problem. And the problem is very often that many of us retirees become lonely. The children have grown up and left, and the grandchildren do not come so often - once a week for the weekend. And we just need to find something interesting, important and loved for ourselves - it can be some kind of hobby or occupation that awakens interest in life, gives an influx of strength, energy, a sense of beauty and the desire to live. I think that everything is positive and opens up a second wind for us.
As an example, we are all members of the Silver Bloggers Community, we are interested here and we are all in the community almost every day. Someone also writes something, makes posts, posts their works and photos, and someone just reads what is interesting to him - thereby expanding their knowledge and skills. We know very well that any communication increases confidence for each of us, distracts from various stresses or difficult life situations. But sometimes it is not so easy to find your favorite pastime yourself, this is precisely what the community helps, where someone can advise and support something in word and deed. Being on the Hive platform and developing creativity in the Ecency application, as well as in the Silver Bloggers Community - we can clearly see what a pleasant and friendly environment here, and not every site or portal can boast of this.
Therefore, the main thing for any platform where a large number of participants (authors and bloggers) is a psychological environment that attracts people to stay, engage in some kind of creativity and work. And what, in fact, can a pensioner additionally choose for his communication, creativity, development and personal growth? I think there is a lot to be found for any of us, even here on the platform and in our community. It's so wonderful that being here - we can learn from each other something that we do not know or did not know before. Besides lying on the couch in front of the TV and drinking beer - there are many directions for all of us. You can travel, write books and poetry, or study it - here in our community it is possible. Exercise and learn the art of meditation. And my favorite is photography.
Any one of us can now take up photography with new technologies, when everyone has, if not a camera, then a phone or smartphone in his hands. But this is still only half the battle, and a creative and big task lies ahead, where training is for everyone who wishes. It is necessary to study in order to understand, and in what genre would someone want to create and work? There are many genres in photography, but the main ones are three: portrait, landscape and macro photography. You need to start learning from simple foundations, that is, from scratch. The first is to understand and grasp the topic, what is the exposure, what should be the light or the flow of light, what is the construction of the composition and the frame, the angle and angle of shooting? And we must remember one more thing - you are a beginner photographer and are learning the art of photography, and the fact that you have an expensive smartphone with a powerful camera does not mean anything.
