The age of fast speeds. Is this good or bad? The question, of course, is controversial! On the one hand, it is clear - the speed of movement, the speed of movement of people. Airplanes and ships, satellites and rockets. Information technologies that have reached the highest level of development, the century of the latest breakthrough in the achievements of science and the perception that we control literally everything on this Earth. But ... This is self-deception! A utopia that takes us all away from the simplest: contemplation of the beautiful - the beauty of nature, absorption of the true visual pleasure of this beauty and the feeling of novelty, giving the soul a burst of emotions, from which you are ready to shout: "Life is beautiful!" This is exactly what I would like to reflect on, remembering the days and years of the past!

Cities, people, kilometers and roads running away into the distance. With your back or the back of your head, you constantly feel that you suddenly did not have time for something, that something was left behind there, in the past. Days where you can never return. It's a pity! It is a pity that today any of our even small trips turns into an ordinary trip, which we forget about with the coming new days, overgrown with the "husk of deception." And the beauty of what was seen and what happened yesterday will remain somewhere out there, in the distance, with its lost and irrevocable nature. Quite recently, some hundred years ago, even a small trip to the fair in the city from the village turned into a kind of holiday, a whole event. An event that was not forgotten for years and was then told among their relatives and friends, overgrown with fabulous facts and trifles, which gave a certain beauty to everything that happened yesterday. Today? Today this is somehow not there! Everything is vain and mundane.

For example, a trip from city to city? This is a whole epic turned out, let us recall at least those same books "Journey from St. Petersburg to Moscow", or "Notes of the Russian Geographical Society." Whole stories, whole layers of new things, seen by someone and left to us, so that we too can understand and feel what they felt then - those very pioneers and real travelers! These are unforgettable pages in the life of our people, country, state and individual. And how much of this happened in every Russian family? But all this has sunk into oblivion with the advent of the century of "fast speeds". Yes Yes! Today, no one will be surprised by a transcontinental flight from Europe to America, or just like that someone flew on vacation to Thailand, Egypt. Or a person got on a plane in Moscow and after some 9-10 hours ended up in the Far East. But there is no beauty of being on a journey, there is no sensation and comprehension of the path. You just "were" in space - and only, not even feeling the scale of the distance.

And with the monotony of the architecture of today's airports, be it Moscow, Tyumen, Yekaterinburg or Vladivostok, you may not immediately understand where you are, without seeing the desired plate with the name of the city. Here you seem to have fallen into the void of time for several hours, a rift swallowed you up. Here it is - an abstraction of today. Dream yesterday, deception today! It is, of course, everything is simple, accessible and ... boring. It's boring! There is no that beauty and spiritual trepidation before the boundlessness of travel across a huge country, be it Russia or neighboring countries. A.P. Chekhov wrote on this occasion a whole book about his trip to Sakhalin Island. Think about it - a whole book! The man was so impressed by his long journey that he wrote a book about what he saw. He wanted to share his emotional experiences and all the beauties of that land, so that many would also feel it, although they were not there.

And today everything is much simpler - I typed a word in a search engine on the Internet and ended up where I wanted. Is this good or bad? There is only one answer - both, but what is more - a question? On the one hand, everything seems to be fine, but virtual abstraction is deceitful and pernicious. You do not participate in the action and do not feel the delight that is only in reality. Then what does a person need? Yes, just so that each of us understands that the beauty of the world around us is available to us only through the perception of reality, in which you yourself are present, accepting it as it really is. This is what you should strive for every day and every hour. The rest is vanity, overturning our consciousness into that very virtuality, which has nothing but emptiness! And in the real world, with its beauty, there are so many interesting and desirable things for us. But the result is always the same - life is beautiful! The world of travel gives us all miracles!
