¡Saludos comunidad! En el reto de esta semana quiero hablarles sobre una carta del Splinter de Fuego que he estado utilizando en mis estrategias con la habilidad “Taunt”. Por lo general suelo usarla en partidas con las condiciones de batalla: “Melee Mayhem”, “Weak Magic” y “Poison” con un límite de maná medio - alto. IIDRI FYRE, es un monstruo del Splinter de Fuego, es del tipo épico, y pertenece a la edición Reward(Soulbound)/Chaos Legion.

IIDRI FYRE es un monstruo que desde su nivel 1 cuenta con buenos atributos, y con la habilidad “Taunt”. En contraste con su nivel 3, la diferencia es 1 punto de escudo y vida. También adquiere la habilidad “Redemption” desde su nivel 2. Su coste de maná 6 la hace una carta mucho más versátil de utilizar en nuestras estrategias en contraste con cartas como: “Magnor” y “Coeurl Lurker”. Como juego en la liga de Plata en el formato Moderno, uso esta carta en su nivel 1, ya que aún no poseo las copias suficientes para subirla de nivel pero lo ideal sería utilizarla en su nivel 3 para aprovechar mejor su potencial. Sin embargo, su desempeño ha sido excelente. Por lo general, como les comenté anteriormente, me gusta utilizar esta carta en mis estrategias con la habilidad “Taunt” en partidas con las condiciones: “Melee Mayhem” o “Poison” con un límite de maná medio - alto por ejemplo. Ya que permite concentrar todo el daño enemigo en ella para dar tiempo al resto de la composición para debilitar al enemigo, y tomar ventaja en la batalla.

Since it allows to concentrate all the enemy damage on it to give time to the rest of the composition to weaken the enemy, and take advantage in the battle.

¡Pasemos a la batalla! Como les mencioné anteriormente, suelo utilizar esta carta en partidas con las condiciones de batalla: “Melee Mayhem”, “Weak Magic” o “Poison”. Con un límite de maná medio - alto. Hoy les traigo una partida con la condición de batalla “Melee Mayhem”, y un límite de maná medio. En la siguiente imagen pueden observar las condiciones de la partida.

Dadas las condiciones de la partida, decidí escoger al Splinter de Fuego, ya que cuenta con monstruos con mayor ataque de tipo melee, e invocadores que potencian este tipo de daño, lo que representa una evidente ventaja en contraste con el Splinter de Muerte.

Usé a Qid Yuff como invocador con la finalidad de aprovechar mejor los ataques de mi composición mediante la habilidad “Piercing” que otorga. En la Primera posición usé a Iidri Fyre con la finalidad de concentrar todo el daño enemigo en ella para dar tiempo al resto de la composición de debilitar al enemigo. En la Segunda posición usé a Grum Flameblade con la finalidad de contribuir al daño desde la segunda línea, y dar tiempo que active su habilidad “Bloodlust” para tomar ventaja en la batalla. En la Tercera posición usé a Radiated Scorcher con el propósito de tomar ventaja en la batalla mediante su habilidad “Shatter”. En la Cuarta posición usé a Exploding Rats con la finalidad de contribuir al daño desde la segunda pero tomando ventaja de su habilidad “Blast”. En la Quinta posición usé a Flame Monkey con el propósito de dar soporte a la composición mediante su habilidad “Repair”. Además de contribuir al daño desde la segunda línea. Por último usé a Forgotten One con la finalidad de proteger a la composición de posibles ataques enemigos de tipo “Sneak” y tomar ventaja de su habilidad “Retaliate” para atacar más de una vez. Además de contribuir también al daño desde la segunda línea. Como pueden observar, esta estrategia es posible gracias al bajo coste de maná que posee Iidri Fyre.

En el turno 11 de la ronda 1, Flame Monkey abatió a Scorch Fiend. Iidri Fyre aún podía aguantar unos turnos más, la estrategia estaba funcionando. Ahora el Grum Flameblade enemigo sería el objetivo de los ataques de mi composición.

En el turno 11 de la ronda 2, mi Radiated Scorcher abatió al Grum Flameblade enemigo. A esta altura de la batalla Iidri Fyre había caído pero cumplió su función, ya que me permitió debilitar al enemigo, abatiendo uno de sus monstruos más fuertes. El enemigo contaba con 4 monstruos mientras que mi composición contaba con 5 monstruos.

At this point in the battle Iidri Fyre had fallen but it served its purpose, as it allowed me to weaken the enemy, taking down one of their strongest monsters. En el turno 11 de la ronda 3, Grum Flameblade abatió a Tenyii Striker, lo que le permitió activar su habilidad “Bloodlust”. El enemigo ya sólo contaba con 2 monstruos, y mi composición con 5. En el turno 13 de la ronda 4, mi Forgotten One abatió al Forgotten One enemigo mediante su habilidad “Retaliate”, definiendo por completo el rumbo de la batalla al dejar al enemigo con tan sólo 1 monstruos. Finalmente, en el turno 1 de la ronda 5, Exploding Rats abatió al Radiated Scorcher enemigo, cerrando la batalla con una victoria. ¿Qué hizo la diferencia entre las estrategias? Pues, el enemigo no usó monstruos con las habilidades “Taunt”, “Repair” y “Blast”. Lo que representó una evidente ventaja en mi caso, a pesar de la diferencia de daño entre nuestras composiciones. En las siguientes imágenes pueden observar todo esto.
