¡Saludos comunidad! En el reto de esta semana quiero hablarles sobre una carta que me gusta utilizar con el Splinter de Vida en partidas con la condición “Heavy Hitters”. Personalmente, prefiero usarla en partidas de alto maná pero también puede usarse en partidas de bajo maná. Runeslinger, es un monstruo del Splinter de Vida, es del tipo raro, y pertenece a la edición Riftwatchers.

Runeslinger es un monstruo que desde su nivel 1 cuenta con la habilidad “Stun”, la cual es ideal para usar en la condición de batalla “Heavy Hitters”, ya que permite hacer el doble de daño a un monstruo bajo el efecto de la habilidad “Stun”. En su nivel 4, adquiere un punto más de daño de rango, y vida. Además de la habilidad “Affliction”, la cual es ideal para neutralizar la capacidad de curación del tanque enemigo. Personalmente uso esta carta en sus niveles 3 o 4, ya que juego en la liga de Plata en el formato Moderno.

¡Pasemos a la batalla! Como les comenté anteriormente, me gusta usar esta carta en partidas de alto maná, y específicamente en aquellas con la condición “Heavy Hitters”, ya que permite aprovechar el potencial de la misma. Y hoy, les traigo una partida así. En la siguiente imagen puede observar las condiciones de la batalla.

Usé a Grandmaster Rathe como invocador, ya que las habilidades que otorga complementan muy bien a la composición, especialmente la habilidad “Void Armor”, y el incremento de 1 punto de armadura. En la Primera posición usé a Uriel The Purifier, ya que sus características lo hacen un excelente tanque. En la Segunda posición usé a Corsair Bosun para contribuir al daño desde la segunda línea, y además proteger al resto de la composición mediante su habilidad “Reflection Shield”, ya que al ser inmune al daño causado por el “Blast”, no morirá, y por ende, el resto de la composición no recibirá el daño adyacente al tanque. En la Tercera posición usé a Adelade Brightwing para dar soporte a la composición mediante sus habilidades “Repair” y “Resurrect”. En la Cuarta posición usé a Time Mage con la finalidad de tomar ventaja al reducir la velocidad del enemigo mediante su habilidad “Slow”, y también contribuir al daño desde la segunda línea. En la Quinta posición usé a Venari Crystalsmith con la finalidad de dar soporte al tanque mediante su habilidad “Heal”, y contribuir al daño desde la segunda línea. Y en la Última posición usé a Runeslinger con el propósito de aplicar su habilidad “Stun” al enemigo y poder aprovechar la condición “Heavy Hitters”, lo que permite hacer el doble de daño. Cabe destacar que Runeslinger en esta posición es susceptible a ataques “Sneak” del enemigo pero también protege al resto de la composición que tiene el objetivo de dar soporte al tanque. Por lo que en el caso de que Runeslinger muera, su sacrificio no sería en vano, ya que en ese transcurso de tiempo se pudo aprovechar la condición de la partida, y se protegió lo suficiente el soporte de la estrategia para tomar la ventaja en la batalla.

En el turno 3 de la ronda 2, Time Mage abatió a Mycelic Slipspawn. El enemigo perdió su monstruo con “Taunt” por lo que ahora el daño de mi composición se concentraría en el tanque enemigo.

En el turno 15 de la ronda 2, Uriel The Purifier abatió a Grund con un golpe de 18 puntos de daño. Esto se debe a que Grund estaba bajo el efecto de la habilidad “Stun” por lo que gracias a la condición “Heavy Hitters”, el daño de Uriel The Purifier se duplicó. Cabe destacar que a esta altura de la batalla, el enemigo ya sólo contaba con 4 monstruos mientras que mi composición permanecía completa.

>On turn 15 of round 2, Uriel The Purifier hit Grund with a hit of 18 points of damage. This is because Grund was under the effect of the "Stun" ability so thanks to the "Heavy Hitters" condition, Uriel The Purifier's damage was doubled. En el turno 11 de la ronda 3, Venari Crystalsmith abatió a Carnage Titan, haciendo un punto de daño también a Goblin Psychic mediante el “Blast”.  El  enemigo ya sólo contaba con 2 monstruos. En el turno 14 de la ronda 3, Corsair Bosun abatió a Goblin Psychic, ya la batalla estaba más que definida. Finalmente, en el turno 18 de la ronda 3, Adelade Brightwing abatió a Venator Kinjo, cerrando la batalla con una victoria. Cabe destacar que aunque el enemigo redujo el daño de rango en mi composición, además de la velocidad. El hecho de haber aprovechado la condición de la batalla hizo la diferencia, ya que me permitió hacer el doble de daño en varias oportunidades. Otro aspecto importante, es la ubicación adecuada del monstruo con la habilidad “Reflection Shield”, ya que esto influye en lo que pueda aguantar nuestra segunda línea en el transcurso de la batalla. En las siguientes imágenes pueden observar todo esto.
