¡Saludos comunidad! El reto de esta semana es sobre una regla de batalla que otorga la habilidad “Enrage” a todos los monstruos en la batalla. En la siguiente sección se explicará más a detalle. Por lo que tener en cuenta este aspecto en el análisis para formar nuestras estrategias, es un factor clave con un impacto considerable en el desempeño de las mismas. En esta oportunidad, les explicaré cómo afronté una batalla de Ranked de la liga de Plata en el formato Moderno, enfocando mi análisis en explicar cómo usé al Splinter de Agua, el invocador Possibilus The Wise, los monstruos Baakjira, Kulu Mastermind y River Hellondale para ser coherente con las reglas de batalla presentes y las habilidades que quería combinar con la finalidad de tomar ventaja en la partida con la estrategia planteada.

What Doesn’t Kill You es una regla que otorga la habilidad “Enrage” a todos los monstruos. La cual incrementa la velocidad y el daño melee en un factor de 1.5x, redondeado por exceso, cuando el monstruo portador de la habilidad recibe daño de tipo melee directo a la vida. 

Tomando en cuenta los aspectos mencionados anteriormente, es recomendable incluir en nuestra estrategia habilidades como: “Inspire”, “Demoralize”, “Shield”, “Protect”, “Shatter”, entre otras.

Hablemos sobre el conjunto de reglas presentes en la batalla, este es el punto de partida para iniciar el análisis que nos llevará a la elección más adecuada para afrontar la batalla.

Límite de maná igual a 45 puntos, esta cantidad de maná nos permite elegir invocadores legendarios con un costo de entre 4 - 7 puntos, dejándonos con un cantidad de maná restante aceptable para elegir buenos monstruos.

La regla What Doesn’t Kill You, ya la expliqué a detalle en la sección anterior. Por otra parte, Fire & Regret es una regla que otorga la habilidad “Return Fire” a todos los monstruos en la batalla, la cual permite retornar una parte del daño de tipo Ranged recibido.

Entonces, tomando en cuenta todos estos aspectos, decidí elegir al Splinter de Agua, ya que cuenta con monstruos que poseen buenas estadísticas, entre ellas, un buen daño mágico y melee. Asimismo, cuenta con habilidades como: “Void”, “Slow”, “Strengthen”, “Weapons Training”, “Opportunity”, “Resurrect”, “Inspire”, “Protect”, “Swiftness”, entre otras y con un invocador que incrementa en 2 puntos la vida del equipo y les otorga las habilidades “Reach” y “Trample”.

Hablemos sobre el equipo, y la estrategia que conforma. Dadas las circunstancias, era evidente el uso de cualquier tipo de daño. Es por ello, que decidí elegir al invocador Possibilus The Wise, ya que incrementa en 2 puntos la vida del equipo y les otorga las habilidades “Reach” y “Trample”.

Baakjira fue el tanque en esta oportunidad, ya que cuenta con buenas estadísticas y las habilidades “Void”, “Slow” y “Strengthen”. Las cuales le permiten reducir el daño mágico recibido, disminuir en 1 punto la velocidad del equipo enemigo y aumentar en 1 punto la vida del equipo, respectivamente.

Kulu Mastermind ocupó la segunda posición con el propósito de compartir su ataque de tipo melee con Baakjira mediante su habilidad “Weapons Training”. Asimismo, contribuir con su daño desde la segunda línea mediante su habilidad “Opportunity”.

Deeplurker ocupó la tercera posición para contribuir con su daño desde la segunda línea mediante su habilidad “Opportunity”.

River Hellondale ocupó la cuarta posición con la finalidad de dar soporte al equipo mediante sus habilidades “Inspire” y “Resurrect”. Asimismo, contribuir con su daño mágico desde la segunda línea.

Venari Wavesmith ocupó la quinta posición para contribuir con su daño mágico desde la segunda línea y dar soporte al equipo mediante su habilidad “Protect”.

Supply Runner ocupó la última posición con el propósito de dar soporte al equipo mediante su habilidad “Swiftness”. Asimismo, contribuir con su daño ranged desde la segunda línea.

Entonces, conociendo la formación, es importante mencionar una vez más para aclarar y despejar cualquier duda que elegí una ofensiva compuesta en parte por daño melee para aprovechar el potencial que ofrece la habilidad “Enrage”.

Como les mencioné anteriormente, elegir al invocador Possibilus The Wise y los monstruos Baakjira, Kulu Mastermind y River Hellondale, fue una buena opción. Sin embargo, también es importante incluir habilidades de soporte que le permitan a nuestro tanque y al resto del equipo resistir lo suficiente.

Observen como para el turno 1 de la ronda 3, el equipo enemigo estaba casi abatido. Baakjira defendió muy bien la primera posición gracias al ataque melee otorgado por Kulu Mastermind. Así mismo, el apoyo de River Hellondale fue clave, incrementando el daño melee del equipo. Por otra parte, Venari Wavesmith y Supply Runner también contribuyeron aumentando la armadura del equipo en 2 puntos y su velocidad en 1 punto, lo cual fue de gran utilidad.

La estrategia planteada hizo un uso eficiente de la cantidad de maná disponible, cubriendo aspectos tales como: resistencia contra el daño enemigo, soporte del equipo, una buena ofensiva, y coherencia con el conjunto de reglas presente.

Una debilidad de esta estrategia es una ofensiva enemiga con un elevado daño melee o ranged y que incluya habilidades como “Thorns”, “Shield”, “Demoralize”, “Protect”, “Poison”, entre otras.

La diferencia entre las estrategias fue que el daño de la ofensiva enemiga no fue suficiente para abatir a mi tanque. Asimismo, el tanque enemigo no contaba con el suficiente soporte para resistir el daño de mi ofensiva.

Para el funcionamiento adecuado de nuestras estrategias, es importante considerar todos los aspectos involucrados, por lo que no sólo debemos enfocarnos en las estadísticas y habilidades a combinar. También debemos tener en cuenta la influencia de los conjuntos de reglas sobre la estrategia.

Let's talk about the rules present in the battle, this is the starting point to begin the analysis that will lead us to the most appropriate choice to face the battle.

Mana limit equal to 45 points, this amount of mana allows us to choose Legendary Summoners with a cost between 4 and 7 points, leaving us with an acceptable amount of remaining mana to choose good monsters.

Let's talk about the team and its strategy. Given the circumstances, it was obvious to use some kind of damage. That's why I chose the summoner Possibilus The Wise, since he increases the team's Health by 2 points and gives them the abilities "Reach" and "Trample".

As I mentioned earlier, the summoner Possibilus The Wise and the monsters Baakjira, Kulu Mastermind, and River Hellondale were good choices. However, it is also important to include support abilities that allow our tank and the rest of the team to provide enough resistance.

Notice how the enemy team was almost down by turn 1 of turn 3. Baakjira defended the top spot very well thanks to the melee attack granted by Kulu Mastermind. The proposed strategy makes efficient use of the amount of mana available and covers aspects such as: resistance to enemy damage, team support, a good offense, and consistency with the current rules.

A weakness of this strategy is an enemy offensive with high melee or ranged damage, including abilities such as Thorns, Shield, Demoralize, Protect, Poison, and others.

The difference between the strategies was that the enemy offensive damage was not enough to take down my tank. Likewise, the enemy tank did not have enough support to withstand the damage of my offensive.
