Today, on Sunday morning, I was faced with a choice: where should I go for a walk with my dog? Our most common walk is towards the river, but I am stopped by the tall grass, which in some places is waist-high. It is also not very convenient for a dog to walk on such grass. After weighing all the PROS and CONS, I decided not to go to the river, but to the lime quarry, which no one is not operating this year.

About 7 years ago, someone named this quarry after the Russian rock singer Viktor Tsoi, and every summer on hot days many people began to come to this reservoir. 5 years ago, a local company engaged in quarrying, but not functioning since the end of the last century, decided to start mining limestone again and closed access to the old quarry. A new quarry development has begun. This did not stop the people who came to this reservoir because they liked the sea-like water. Personally, I've never liked swimming in this water.

Walking along the quarry, I caught the smell of a campfire, but I couldn't see the smoke, so I decided it was my imagination. But when I rounded the border of the new and old quarries, I smelled smoke more strongly, and then I saw a tent. A man picked up a good place. I must say that a strong westerly wind was blowing this morning, and the tent was protected from this wind.

Initially, I wanted to walk along the place where the tent stood and climb up to the high bank. But now I decided to change the route and go to the other side of the reservoir. Motorcycle tracks are visible here; it is clear that the guys trained on these slides.

We have reached the highest point. When developing a quarry, dump trucks unload the waste rock here next to the quarry and increase the height of the mountains.

What's happening? We're under attack! I was even startled when I heard a sharp sound above my head. It's the seagulls!

The seagull didn't like my dog for something, and it made 3 attacks on her. The last attack was very dangerous; I even thought that the seagull would stab the dog in the head with its beak. The seagull attacked from behind, and Nora did not even realize that she was in danger. 
Well, we retreated from this place.

An old quarry that has long been an ordinary lake where fish live. The first time I visited it was in 1992, and I never thought that such changes could happen here. Last year, I often came here with my dog. I was interested in an abandoned garden where berries could grow.

I didn't find any berries, just meadow flowers. I'm not the smartest or the most cunning; someone smarter has already walked through an abandoned garden and picked berries.

But I knew another abandoned house with an overgrown garden. This is the house next to my plot. I cut down trees on it every year. The owners of the house died 10 years ago, and their children probably did not inherit. Anyway, I haven't seen them anywhere near the house since they took all the possessions out of it.
It was there that I picked a basket of berries.
For lunch, my wife made a milkshake with berries. My granddaughter liked it very much and she drank 2 glasses. Our daughter ate about half a kilo of ice cream with berries. She loves ice cream very much and can eat it without restriction, unless I restrict it. Well, Sunday turned out great.
