@dan, its great to see you back posting on Hive.

I understand that as an amazing developer you are always looking for bright, new tech to 
> create free market, voluntary solutions for securing life, liberty, property, and justice for all". 

A new child that will bring liberty to the world.

Please consider that **your first born** (content blockchain) already has, or can be endowed with, all the tech necessary for the above but **has two things that any new project will really struggle to achieve**:

1) True decentralisation; and
2) An active and committed community.

**Decentralisation**
There is an inherent conflict between dreams of decentralisation and the necessity of talented entrepreneurs to create and fund new blockchain projects. It is always very difficult for founders to fully let go and give their child the real freedom to create true decentralisation.

Bitcoin and Hive are the ONLY examples in the whole blockchain space where the founders have completely given up control (or been forced to). 

Even Ethereum is too dependent upon and beholden to Vitalik (even though he is a great guy who is fully committed to decentralisation) and the Ethereum Foundation.

**Community**
A relatively large, committed community that believes in the platform, and will not give up when the token price is in the toilet, is extremely rare and very difficult to create.

Hive has this. It is unique in all of blockchain in this.
