The Toronto Sun today blazed the word "Doctatorship" over its front page and added "When this is all over, public health doctors' powers must be curbed." Good for the TO Sun. The time for purging our governments of "Health authority" power-drunks is very fast approaching. I'd say it's right now. So-called "Health Authorities" in Canada are more immediately corrupted by the intoxication of power than we ever imagined such formerly insignificant bureaucrats could possibly be. The nut case Theresa Tam "recommended" that we should all be wearing medical masks while having "sexual encounters" and to my disgust nobody in that room full of reporters dared to give her the horse laugh she deserved. And the would-be Doctator Bonnie Henry of BC petitioned our Supreme Court, in vain thank God and the Justices, to be given authority to order pre-crime arrests by police for apprehended intentions to defy her rules by going to church instead of Walmart or the liquor store. But these women are not to be blamed for falling victim to power drunkenness. We have to put the blame where it belongs and that's right in the laps of our Prime Minister and his Liberal Party and all the parliamentarians who acquiesce to them. They have betrayed our Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the laws upon which it is based. Thank God there are some Canadians, notably Chris Sky and nurse Jessica Faraone, who have had the brains and guts to invoke our Charter and our laws which still exist – so far!! – and defy these unconstitutional and illegal rules. The Prime Minister of Canada, the Wrong Dishonourable Justin Trudeau, decreed from on high that Canadian citizens (and legal residents) shall be apprehended at airports and compelled to register for confinement in a hotel at their own considerable expense at the pleasure of the police and under the threat of fines. And, tragically and frighteningly, many people have complied in the misapprehension that this is "the Law". Chris Sky and Jessica Faraone defied this dictatorship by walking freely out of airports as is the perfect legal right of every Canadian. The police did not stop them because the police know that their first oath is to protect and defend the laws and the Constitution of Canada including the Charter of Rights. "Health authority" flunkies and Customs people yelled at Jessica Faraone and threatened her with fines but she knew the law and her Charter rights and so she knew these threats are entirely empty. Nobody has any right to put a swab up your nose or a needle in your arm or a muzzle on your face if you do not voluntarily consent. That's the law so far in this fair land. The police know it. Our Prime Minister does not; he's brainless and gutless enough to obey the orders of the WHO and give us over to be lab animals and turn this country into a lawless dictatorship and himself and the Parliament of Canada into franchise managers for dictators in Brussels. We little people down here on the sidewalks are abandoned without leadership and there is no defence of the law and the Charter of Rights except for our individual courage? We've all lived our long or short lives in a country of laws and rights so our moral muscles are flabby. It's been one year of a revolutionary overturning we can scarcely understand. It's not fair that we should so suddenly be called upon to be the sole defenders of our country. It's not fair but it's reality. And the parliamentary system of government we have always assumed deserved our respect, whether we were conservative or liberal in sympathies, that system had better start deserving our respect very soon. It sure doesn't right now. The consequences of our system of government losing legitimacy in the eyes of the public will be grave and epic.
