# <center>A Lot Has Changed in a Month... But for the Better!</center>

April was a lively month for Splinterlands: the start of the presale for the new expansion **Conclave Arcana** acted as a trigger, with tens of thousands of packs already purchased, the price of DEC getting closer and closer to its peg, and millions of SPS collectively burned by players.

The release of a new expansion is always an exciting moment, one where we often witness major changes in the value of many assets, especially due to some sets rotating out of the Modern format.

With the aim of preparing myself as best as possible for this event, just a few days ago I completed the sale of my [last Chaos Legion set cards](https://peakd.com/hive-146620/@arc7icwolf/engita-time-to-part-with-my-legendary-archons) and used the proceeds to purchase as many [Archons from the Rebellion set](https://peakd.com/hive-146620/@arc7icwolf/engita-archons-madness-have-i-lost-my-mind) as possible, so as to shift my entire investment to a set destined to become more central in the Modern format.

I'm now trying to finish using up my budget — *I still have 8000 DEC left to reinvest* — before the start of the general sale of the Conclave Arcana set, and to help me, I started developing a new script to identify the [Rebellion cards with the best ROI](https://peakd.com/hive-146620/@arc7icwolf/engita-what-rebellion-cards-have-the-best-rental-roi).

Once I've bought the last cards, I’ll officially be ready for the start of this new cycle, where I hope to make another small step forward, maybe bringing the value of my collection to settle at a slightly higher level.

In the meantime, let's see how these operations and the presale impacted the value of what I own, distinguishing, as always, between **cards** and **tokens**.

## <center>Cards</center>

Using Peakmonsters, the value of my cards is **currently** about 171 dollars.

**Last month**, the value of my collection was about 190 dollars.

A decrease of just under 20 dollars, partly due to the fact that I still have 8000 DEC left to reinvest.

Selling my Legendary Archons from the Chaos Legion set and rebuying Archons from the Rebellion set has, for now, had a **slightly negative** effect on the overall value of my cards: however, my focus is on the medium-to-long term, where I hope the trend will reverse.

## <center>Tokens</center>

On the token side, things are even better than last month!

**Currently**, the value of my tokens amounts to 117.15 dollars.

**Last month**, their value was 70.53 dollars.

Even after subtracting about 8000 DEC, the increase in value is close to 40 dollars, more than enough to allow me to finish this month in the green as well.

## <center>Another Great Month!</center>

Two months in a row full of satisfaction, even though the credit is definitely not mine but rather due to the release of the Conclave Arcana expansion, which, like every expansion, brings a lot of buzz around the game, with players and investors spending even very significant amounts to grab the most prestigious and important cards and bonuses.

On my small scale, my goal is to try to take advantage of this moment to grow the value of my account, in order to increase the DEC income I am able to generate.

This income is meant to allow me to buy more SPS and, in moments like this, more cards as well, to speed up my growth — at least theoretically!

In just a few days, I will also proceed to buy more SPS, getting very close to my goal of 10,000 SPS — *which unfortunately, unlike what I hoped, I won't reach right now, but in about another two weeks.*

# <center>Tante Cose Sono Cambiate in un Mese... Ma per il Meglio!</center>

Aprile è stato un mese movimentato per Splinterlands: l'inizio della presale per la nuova espansione **Conclave Arcana** ha fatto da innesco, con decine di migliaia di pacchetti già acquistati, il prezzo di DEC sempre più vicino al suo peg e milioni di SPS bruciati complessivamente dai giocatori.

L'arrivo di una nuova espansione è sempre un momento eccitante, in cui è possibile assistere a grossi mutamenti nel valore di molti assets, soprattutto a causa della rotazione di alcuni set fuori dal formato Modern.

Proprio nell'ottica di prepararmi il meglio possibile a quest'evento ho terminato pochissimi giorni fa le operazioni di vendita delle mie [ultime carte del set Chaos Legion](https://peakd.com/hive-146620/@arc7icwolf/engita-time-to-part-with-my-legendary-archons) ed utilizzando il ricavato per acquistare quanti più [Arconti del set Rebellion possibile](https://peakd.com/hive-146620/@arc7icwolf/engita-archons-madness-have-i-lost-my-mind), così da spostare il mio intero investimento su un set destinato a diventare più centrale nel formato Modern.

Adesso sto cercando di esaurire il mio budget - *mi sono rimasti 8000 DEC da reinvestire* - prima dell'inizio della general sale del set Conclave Arcana e, per aiutarmi, mi sono messo a sviluppare un nuovo script che mi aiutasse ad identificare le [carte Rebellion con il miglior ROI](https://peakd.com/hive-146620/@arc7icwolf/engita-what-rebellion-cards-have-the-best-rental-roi).

Una volta acquistate le ultime carte sarò ufficialmente pronto per l'inizio di questo nuovo ciclo, in cui spero di riuscire a fare un ulteriore piccolo salto di qualità, magari portando il valore della mia collezione ad assestarsi su qualche importo un po' più elevato.

Intanto, però, vediamo come queste operazioni e la presale hanno influito sul valore di ciò che possiedo, distinguendo, come sempre, fra **carte** e **tokens**.

## <center>Carte</center>

Utilizzando Peakmonsters il valore delle mie carte risulta **attualmente** pari a circa 171 dollari.

Il **mese scorso** il valore della mia collezione era invece pari a circa 190 dollari.

Una diminuzione di poco meno di 20 dollari, dovuta in parte però anche al fatto che ho ancora 8000 DEC da reinvestire.

La vendita dei miei Arconti Leggendari del set Chaos Legion ed il riacquisto di Arconti del set Rebellion ha, per ora, avuto un effetto **leggermente negativo** sul valore complessivo delle mie carte: la mia attenzione però è rivolta al medio-lungo termine, in cui spero che la tendenza si inverta.

## <center>Tokens</center>

Lato tokens le cose vanno invece ancora meglio del mese scorso!

**Attualmente** il valore dei miei tokens ammonta infatti a 117.15 dollari.

**Il mese scorso** il loro valore era invece pari a 70.53 dollari.

Anche togliendo circa 8000 DEC, l'aumento di valore si avvicina ai 40 dollari, più che sufficienti a farmi terminare, anche questo mese, in positivo.

## <center>Di nuovo un bel mese!</center>

Due mesi di fila ricchi di soddisfazioni, anche se sicuramente il merito non è mio ma del rilascio dell'espansione Conclave Arcana che, come ogni espansione, porta un gran fermento intorno al gioco, con giocatori ed investitori che spendono somme anche molto importanti per accaparrarsi le carte ed i bonus più prestigiosi ed importanti.

Nel mio piccolo, il mio obiettivo è di provare a sfruttare questo momento per accrescere il valore del mio account, in modo da incrementare la rendita in DEC che sono in grado di generare.

Questa rendita ha lo scopo di consentirmi di acquistare più SPS e, in momenti come questo, carte, così da velocizzare sempre più la mia crescita - almeno in linea teorica!

Fra pochissimi giorni procederò anche ad acquistare altri SPS, così da avvicinarmi davvero tantissimo al mio obiettivo di 10.000 SPS - *che purtroppo, diversamente da quel che speravo, non raggiungerò adesso, ma fra altre due settimane.*
