# PIZZA and LOL: Tip Tokens... But Not Only That!

Here I am again with a post dedicated to two tokens available on Hive-Engine that, for one reason or another, I like to accumulate in ever-growing amounts.

This post adds to three others I have already written about six other tokens I particularly care about:

Each of these tokens generally has a specific advantage that led me to add it to the list of tokens I focus on the most and whose quantity I constantly strive to increase.

To discover the benefits of the six tokens mentioned above, I refer you to the respective posts, while today I will focus on the two mentioned in the title of this post: **PIZZA** and **LOLZ**, two of the most famous tip tokens on Hive.

## <center>Tip Tokens: What Are They?</center>

First, let’s clarify what is meant by "tip token."

The distinctive feature of these tokens is that they can be gifted to other users as a sort of tip or small reward.

To do this, you typically need to meet two requirements:  
- Own a certain amount of the token you want to give away  
- Leave a comment under another user’s post or comment containing inside a special command, usually consisting of the token's name preceded by an exclamation mark.  

For PIZZA and LOLZ, the commands are therefore **!PIZZA** and **!LOLZ** (or **!LOL**, if you prefer).

If you have more than 200 PIZZA tokens staked and/or more than 16 LOLZ tokens staked, you unlock the ability to use these commands, and the more tokens you own, the more times per day you can use them.

## <center>Is There More to It?</center>

As I wrote in the title, PIZZA and LOL are not just tip tokens.

Both also offer additional benefits, such as:  
- Holding PIZZA unlocks the possibility of being curated by the @hive.pizza account and its curation trail  
- If you are among the top 125 LOLZ holders, you get the chance to receive dividends paid in HBD  

There are also other small perks, like the ability to obtain exclusive titles (in the case of PIZZA), but the two mentioned above are probably the biggest ones and the ones most likely to incentivize a user to add these tokens to their accumulation list.

Both projects have been around for many years now—both were active even before I joined Hive in 2021—though many other tip tokens have emerged over time, making the competition increasingly fierce.

In the case of PIZZA, I’d also point out that after a period of inactivity—which had almost led me to sell my tokens—the situation was taken back into control by @hivetrending, who confirmed that the project [is alive and ready to grow again](https://peakd.com/hive-185582/@hive.pizza/hive-pizza-is-alive).

Because of this announcement and the reputation of the person who made it, I decided to increase the amount of PIZZA tokens I own, bringing it close to 350 tokens.

As for LOLZ, I have been well over 3,000 tokens for quite some time now, placing me among the top 125 holders of the token.

#  PIZZA e LOLZ: Tip Tokens... Ma Non Solo!

Eccomi di nuovo con un post dedicato ad altri due token disponibili su Hive-Engine che, per un motivo o per un altro, mi piace accumulare in quantità sempre maggiori.

Questo post si aggiunge ad altri tre che ho già scritto ed inerenti ad altri 6 tokens a cui tengo particolarmente:

Ognuno di questi tokens in genere ha un vantaggio particolare che mi ha spinto ad aggiungerlo alla lista dei tokens su cui mi concentro maggiormente e la cui quantità cerco costantemente di aumentare.

Per scoprire i vantaggi dei 6 tokens sopracitati vi rimando ai relativi posts, mentre oggi mi concentrerò sui due indicati nel titolo di questo post: **PIZZA** e **LOLZ**, due dei tip token più famosi su Hive.

## <center>Tip token: cosa sono?</center>

Intanto chiariamo cosa si intende con "tip token".

La particolarità di questi token è che è possibile regalargli agli altri utenti come se fossero una sorta di mancia o piccolo premio.

Per farlo bisogna soddisfare, in genere, due requisiti:
- possedere una certa quantità del token che si vuole regalare
- lasciare un commento sotto un post o commento di un altro utente contenente al suo interno un comando particolare, costituito, di solito, dal nome del token preceduto da un punto esclamativo.

Nel caso di PIZZA e LOLZ i comandi sono quindi **!PIZZA** e **!LOLZ** (o **!LOL**, se preferite).

Se si possiedono più di 200 token PIZZA in staking e/o più di 16 token LOLZ sempre in staking si sblocca la possibilità di utilizzare i suddetti comandi e più token si possiedono, più volte al giorno è possibile utilizzarli.

## <center>C'è dell'altro?</center>

Come ho scritto nel titolo, PIZZA e LOL però non sono soltanto tip token.

Entrambi offrono infatti anche altri ulteriori benefici, come ad esempio:
- detenere PIZZA sblocca la possibilità di venire curati dall'account @hive.pizza e dalla sua curation trail
- se si è fra i 125 maggiori detentori di LOLZ si ottiene la possibilità di ricevere dei dividenti pagati sotto forma di HBD

Ci sono anche poi altri piccoli vantaggi, come la possibilità di ottenere titoli esclusivi (nel caso di PIZZA), ma i due sopraindicati penso siano i maggiori e quelli che possono più facilmente incentivare un utente ad aggiungere questi token tra quelli da accumulare.

Entrambi i progetti esistono inoltre da ormai molti anni - tutti e due sono attivi dapprima del mio arrivo su Hive nel 2021 - anche se nel tempo sono nati tanti altri tip token e la concorrenza si è fatta sempre più agguerrita.

Nel caso di PIZZA segnalo anche che, dopo un periodo di inattività, che mi aveva ormai quasi portato a vendere i miei token, la situazione è stata ripresa in mano da @hivetrending, il quale ha confermato che il progetto [è vivo e pronto a tornare a crescere](https://peakd.com/hive-185582/@hive.pizza/hive-pizza-is-alive).

Proprio in virtù di questo annuncio e della reputazione della persona che lo ha fatto ho deciso di accrescere un po' il quantitativo di token PIZZA che possiedo, portandolo vicino ai 350 token.

Per quanto riguarda LOLZ, invece, sono ormai da tanto tempo oltre i 3000 token, posizionandomi così tra i top 125 holders del token.
