### 1. New users

This chart shows the number of newly registered users on the blockchain and how many of them became active.

<sub>Warning: the chart is kind of dynamic! A user can register one day and become active a few days later. Therefore, the number of active users on a specific date may change from day to day.

This graph shows who created new accounts during the last day.

In this graph, the orange line shows the total number of registered accounts.
The green line shows how many of them have been active at least once (active meaning publishing a post, commenting or voting). They are included even if they become inactive later.

The last graph is a monthly summary of the active users. Be careful when interpreting the value of the last column which can be much lower if the end of the month has not yet been reached.

The grey portion of each column indicates how many accounts are inactive (those who have not posted, commented or voted for 30 days).

The grey portion of each column indicates unused Hive Power by inactive accounts (see above for the definition of inactive).

I think there's a bug in your number of accounts per level graph. The active/inactive proportion doesn't seem correct graphically, compared to the numbers on the graph.

The graph and numbers are correct. I have to use log10 scale to keep the graph readable, mainly because of the number of redfishes.
I tried several other presentations, but this is the one that remains the best although the scale used can be misleading.

I still feel like it's wrong. I see for "orcas" 190 active and 106 inactive. From my point of view, I would expect the red to be bigger than the gray, yet it's reversed. But maybe I'm just misunderstanding what the relative proportions of the two colors is trying to convey.

Oh, nvm, I see. It IS because you're using a logarithmic scale. But in such a case, trying to show color this way is misleading at best, I think.

A question about the cumulative hive power per level graph: Is it looking at raw or effective MVESTS of an account when measuring active/inactive totals? I think it should account for delegated power. For example, if an account is inactive, but delegating to an active account, I think those VESTS should be considered active. Maybe you're already doing this, but curious to know.
