Introduction to Dlive the first decentralized video streaming platform on Steem!
So recently I just came across a New and also very great platform I will love to share with you. Its called **Dlive**.

# what is dlive??
Well from the little I know, this id the **First decentralized video streaming platform on Steem!**
This system works like Twitch, Youtube, Live.me, and other video streaming website.

Now that I just pronounced Dlive to be like some other video streaming platforms most persons will not want to associate with it but I have come to let you know Dlive have a whole lot to offer.
- Dlive is under the blockchain network so it is save, secure and free to use.
- With Dlive, users can make "Micropayment with no fee". 
With Micropayment I mean Users can show their appreciation to broadcasters by transferring STEEM directly or simply upvoting. This way, every broadcaster can easily monetize their contents from the very first day.
- No push ads unlike other video streaming platforms where it looks as though you are being forced to watch some adverts before accessing the video you came to watch. 
>The nature of a decentralized community is that the individual should have more freedom, right? DLive will not force any users to watch ads. No more pop-up ads to annoy you....

- No cut its all free and all the funds you raise are all your to use in which ever way it pleases you. DLive will take **ZERO (0)** transaction or commission fees from its users.
- Finally, everyone is rewarded just like other Steem communities, curation and creation **reap rewards.** 

# So now that you Know How do  you get started??
**Step 1:** Visit the Dlive website @ www.dlive.io.

**Step 2:** Once on the **Dlive** website click on the login button at the top right corner of the page. See illustration below.

**Step 3:** After cicking on the "login" button, you will be redirected to SteemConnect because Dlive is currently using SteemConnect as its login tool because it makes STEEM login and key management much easier, and it’s officially run by @busy.org. 
Once on the SteemConnect page click "CONTINUE" as seen in the screenshot below.

**Step 4:** After that a login page will pop-up where you will have to fill in your account details. Here you will have to type your steemit account user name in the first field provided then paste your password in the second field and then click "SIGN IN" and you are IN!! See illustration below.

once your signup request have been accepted you will be brought back to the **"Dlive"** home page and a pop-up will display as seen in the screenshot below.

Now that you have registered what next??

# How to I publish a video??
**Step 1:** Click on the "Upload" button on the top right corner of the page (same area where you initially clicked the login button). See illustration below.

Once you have don that a dropdown menu will op-up showing videos you have in your system once you have found the video you want to upload you select it and den click "Open" see Illustration below.

You can simply just drag and drop the file you want to upload (file must be in MP4 format and should not be more than 1G)
Once you have done that, your video will start uploading all you have to do is wait for some time till it completely uploads and counts to 100% as seen in the screenshot below.

**Step 2:** Follow the screenshot below as guide just follow the numbering.

**Step 3:** If you followed the instructions in the screenshot above correctly you would be brought to this page where all you have to do is click "post". as illustrated by the screenshot below.

If you follow all the steps correctly your post will be published and you will see a pop-up notifying you that that your post is live as seen below.
