Taking On Challenges

In daily life, we'll be faced every so often with necessary choices similar to whether or not to take on a brand new challenge, like applying for a new job or beginning a new course.
Taking up such challenges is a crucial part of growing and developing as an individual. The more we are able to test our limits and capabilities the more we'll find out about ourselves. New challenges are opportunities for us.
The draw back is that we tend to take on new challenges we also have to face the chance of failure. Instead of seeing the opportunity within the scenario we tend to concentrate on what it'll be like to fail.

Fear Of Failure

Due to this, the thought of taking on a challenge may be horrifying. The concern of failure may be too much to bear. Therefore we tend to avoid the challenge and keep on down the same path we were on. We tend to create some excuse for ourselves, so we are able to stay in our comfort zone.
But the reality is that staying in your comfort zone out of worry isn't always very comfortable. By avoiding challenge, we donβt have the opportunities to find out about ourselves. We tend to feel cornered as if we were leading a life that's not true to ourselves. We are laid low with discomfort, anxiety and therefore the sense that things aren't quite right.
There are times and places when we would possibly wish to avoid a challenge for good realistic reasons. The difficulty comes when we donβt apprehend that we are creating excuses. We are fearful of what others would possibly say and perhaps conjointly of what we'd find out about ourselves. Therefore we tend to tell ourselves that is a not a good time or the proper opportunity. However, it's really our fear talking.

Being True To Yourself

To leads a life which is truly authentic we need to be able to be true to ourself and take on challenges despite the fears that may be associated with it. It's not that the authentic person doesn't feel the same fear however they're willing to face their concern.
Authentic individuals wonβt let their path in life be determined by what others assume. They're open to new experiences and treasure the challenges of learning regarding themselves. However they understand that it's like crossing a river on stepping stones - there's forever the chance of getting wet.
The question isn't how to lead a life within which we never feel the worry of failure however rather how will we move forward despite our concern. Are we ready to rework our concern into an enthusiasm to interact with the new challenge and learn from it?
