<h3>There Is Evil And Therefore No God</h3>

Many will look at the suffering in the world and use it as proof to debunk God.

If God is truly omnibenevolent, why would there be suffering in the world? There are many catastrophes that occur throughout the world. Things such as world hunger and poverty haunt the world. These crises cause so much hurt and pain on a daily basis. Why would God, if he exists, allow this?

Many see God as in a position to do away with all of this unnecessary torment, yet he has done nothing. This begs another question, is God truly all loving? If we think about it like this, I am more moral than God and I am definitely not the kindest person on this Earth.

Therefore, God can't exist. God is supposed to be all loving, if he is, he would remove all suffering in the world. Many would see this as enough evidence to completely rule out the existence of God, but I do not.

<h3>God Can Exist Even With Suffering</h3>

When I see this argument against the existence of God, I say that we have been given free will. We have been given the capability to make life choices. God has not set out a plan for us or the world, he is testing us to see where we will end up in the afterlife. If God did lay out our lives for us, he would be cruel to send people to Hell even though they haven't done anything. God is omnibenevolent so he would not do this.

Also, God can only rule out suffering if he knows what he is removing. As we have free will, at any time we would create a new sort of evil and suffering. God cannot remove what is not yet defined.

You may say, but God has omniscience, yet even an all-knowing being cannot know what does not exist yet. The fact that we have free will disables God from removing the evil in the world, but it does not mean that he does not exist.

Sometimes I do have to wonder. Less than an hour ago, some looneytunes walked into a church near San Antonio, Texas here in the USA and opened fire on the congregation... 27 dead, 30+ injured. IN the House of God.

What IS God's plan, with things like that?

and why did God give us free will if we are to do exactly what he wants? because otherwise we will suffer? What kind of cretin is he? And what about the innocent children who have not used their free will and still suffer the worst fates? if everything is part of God's plan, then if we sin and are punished for that, it was already planned, and if everything that happens is not already known by God then it is not omniscient or omnipotent, because in the end it does not exist
